  Out of all the home builders to build our home in Seven Bridges, we chose Kerns Home Builders.We first heard about them and their impeccable reputation, as we began our search to have a home built.From start to finish, this has been an enjoyable project. We have had other builders build us homes in the past, but the quality of this home exceeded those. We have received many compliments on our home The craftsmanship, the attention to detail, and very attentive follow up service after our closing and move in was excellent. Kerns Home Builders was amazing, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a home.......Fred & Nancy Felix

  My family was supposed to move to Platte City this summer with the Army. During the build process my wife, who was pregnant with our identical twin boys, went into early labor and we lost both of our boys. My wife needed multiple surgeries following and we spent the next few months in and out of the hospital as she fought for her life. When she was medically cleared the Army reassigned us to N.C. so we could be close to our families and the cemetery where we laid our boys to rest. Our Realtor reached out to Gary Kerns Homebuilders who allowed us out of our contract. We forfeited all the money we paid GKH to break the contract, which we were ok with we just wanted to be near our sons. Today we received a Blessing in the form of a check from GKH for all the money we thought we were out of. I can’t tell you how much this blessing means to my family at this time and how thankful we are for GKH. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to build anywhere near the Kansas City area because not only do they build beautiful homes but they have a beautiful heart as well.

  I have owned a Kerns home in Smithville for 9 years and have continued to be impressed with the quality of workmanship of my home. Recently, following hail storms in the area, several homes on my block, built by other builders and newer homes than mine, have required that the roofs be replaced. Two independent roofers assessed mine and found no appreciable damage. They attributed this to higher quality shingles and better venting than other neighborhood homes. I continue to be very impressed with this builder.
