Very pleased with the work Four Seasons did in repointing and repairing my chimney and replacing 2 roofs, house and garage. Quality materials used throughout, and the appropriately skilled crews went the extra mile on getting the job done and cleanup. Leaks through my chimney flashing which had been a perennial problem, even after the last roof replacement 20 years ago, now seems to be solved. Very pleased about that. Recommended.

Don't let these people touch your house! My husband contacted Four Seasons Chiminey & Roofing LLC to repair damage to our stone chimney from grey squirrels that had eaten a hole in the metal flashing around the base of the chimney. I did not sign a contract and was not offered to sign one. I went on good faith from good online reviews ... Now I know I should have insisted on signing one. We saw the damage from the ground & our chimney was not leaking before the work began. My husband went with the copper option although it was more expensive, $1800 I did not want to use the same metal the squirrels has eaten. We waited about 3 weeks for the crew to show up and begin work. 3 guys came and worked for most of the day on a Saturday. My husband was told that they could not finish sealing up the chimney due to weather??...so Justin (brother of owner) came back and was up there for about an hour said he was done and they were paid with a check. I was not prepared for what was going to happen next...... As the rain began to pour down on our house, My husband decided to go up into the attic and it was a good thing he did. Water was just coming in freely from that front unsealed corner of the chimney. He placed absorbent pads all around the attic and changed them every hour to avoid damage to the house. My husband contacted them the next day via email and a phone call. The email response from the owner, Garret Hayes was "Keep an eye on it and if it leaks again we will have to come replace the sealant." What? It's brand new, why would you have to replace sealant? What we didn't know at the time was they should have soldered everything, but they didn't know how! Immediately we stopped payment on the check as the services rendered were fully defective and contacted the State of CT Dept of Consumer Protection to complain. With the threat of winter weather on the way....we had to hire a coppersmith with 35 years experience working with copper to repair the chimney correctly, with soldered joints, one piece side counter flashing, & NO SEALANT! As the professional took their work apart, you could readily see that the workmanship was substandard. We even noticed gutter damage from their ladder being thrown against the gutters. They were supposed to put a ladder jack on the end of the ladder to rest on the roof. For a company who's truck says in huge letters on the side "CHIMINEY SPECIALIST" they really should know better. After watching the coppersmith, it was clear these guys did not have the metalworking skills to do the job in copper and should have been honest and not try to sneak a bad chimney flashing job through. Look through these pictures and see for yourself. To top it all off, No apology! Stay far away!
