It was a real pleasure working with Fortified Roofing and Siding to get my Mother's house repaired. Raccoons had torn one hole in the roof and water backing up from poor gutters had created a second hole. I needed a lot of work done quickly to prevent any further damage. This included tearing off two layers, replacing plywood, and all new gutters and downspouts. I was amazed how quickly they responded to my request for an estimate, and how straightforward they made the whole process. Sonny kept in touch with me from the beginning to the end, and made sure that every step went smoothly. The crew was quick and efficient, and the house looks amazing! Best of all my Mom is safe and snug in her home. Thanks Fortified Roofing and Siding!

Thank you for the great review Robin! We hate to see holes in roofs but we are glad we were able to get it fixed quickly and provide a beautiful new roof.

I couldn't be happier with our entire roof replacement experience. Everything Megan promised was delivered. It took a while longer because of supply delays but they had great communication and let us know when delays were happening. I am happy we waited for them even though they were the most expensive proposal we received. Worth the wait.

It took me one try to crawl up there and get the original leak fixed. Maybe luck, and knock on wood that it stays but it's been quite a while and still no leaks whatsoever, but these guys came out multiple times and never corrected it. I think this is a great company, but my experience was not great. They were prompt, courteous, fairly easy to deal with in general. But I wouldn't recommend them for modular or mobile homes with a roof like mine. What originally was just a leak I needed corrected around my AC pipe turned into a complete shingle overhaul and some minor siding replacement due to a hailstorm recorded within "x" timeframe of ins. claims limits. And also, later, a complete decking/substrate replacement that was not insurance covered but were very inferior materials. I trusted they would do a great job due to reviews and recommendations so I had them replace anything that needed it. It took them several tries to get my exhaust fans aligned so they wouldn't bow up the shingles and would also connect back to the fan properly and stop leaking, and I thought that was odd that they originally claimed it was not their responsibility to realign the pipes, but they did it anyways so great. (Even though THEY cut the holes the pipes feed through in the decking? I dunno, I'm no roofer). I had to explain to them and in the end even physically help them realign them, but this could have been due to the poor construction of the roof framing as well as this particular style house. I had them out several times to also tend to the original leak that was never corrected. One guy created a complete mess when he came out and caused more issues than he fixed. He did not appear to know what he was doing. I'm pretty sure he was fired. Several water stains developed during this process due to the leaks around those exhaust fans, and holes were punched through my ceiling, as well as bent guttering, but those were compensated for. They did a poor job aligning my shingles in a few spots but at this point I don't think I want them to come to fix them. It just kinda shows inferior handiwork, especially when the owner comes out and even he doesn't notice. I felt I had to hassle a bit to get some of the materials' pricing down to their quoted price, but due to the headache and increased costs I did not have them do the siding that was in the signed contract. Even though the decking was not in the contract and I had them do it for a substantial increase in the overall costs which paled in comparison to the siding costs reduction. It was a learning experience to always adhere to the contract, but they did lower the price back down finally. But the original leak they needed to fix was never resolved by them, it kept coming back, and a few others were also created during the process, compounding the chaos, but those were resolved in the end. I agree this was not a well built roof originally, using the barest of materials, and they needed to replace more than originally estimated due to some of the materials the roof originally used, and it was a very busy season for them, but they adhered to the schedule regardless. In the end I just should have corrected it myself and spent the insurance money on something more useful as the old roof was mostly ok and intact. I hoped to use this as a good selling point to the house but I'm not confident I can do that when you go up to look at it. This was a complete headache of an experience for me for something I probably could have just fixed myself and not redone the shingles and everything else. I still lie awake at night when it's raining, wondering if it's gonna leak.

John, Thank you for your honest review. We did enjoy working with you. We always strive to give our customers the best experience possible. We thank you for the compliments on our promptness, courteousness and us being fairly easy to deal with. As well as noting that even in the busy season we did maintain the adhered schedule. We did indeed go out initially for a leak and noticed you had hailstorm damage enough to make an insurance claim. We were happy to help assist you with that process. We are sorry that once we got into the roof that the decking you had was thin and breaking. Also, that the framing of your roof was built with 2x2 rafters, and one rafter being broken that we fixed. We do apologize for the exhaust ventilation issues that you had. As well as the additional ceiling staining and a small area of gutter damage which sometimes can happen with a major roof installation. We were happy to come to a resolution with you to compensate you for that. We did have concerns that the leak that you were experiencing was associated with the HVAC stack. That is something that we indeed can not be messing with as we are not qualified HVAC installers. We did mention that, which you at that time didn’t want to involve paying an HVAC company to come look at it. We are sorry that this experience caused a complete headache for you. That is not what we strive to achieve for our customers. We do assure you that we do have the labor warranty and the manufacturer warranty. Please, if there are any issues, contact us. We are happy to come out any time to continue providing prompt and courteous services.
