I cannot give Five Valleys restoration enough thanks for their exceptional service. August 2021, the pipe under my upstairs bathroom sink burst. It wasn’t discovered for approximately 1 hour and by that time had flooded the inhabited basement apartment. Within a few hours the tenants’ belongings were moved into the garage, as much water mopped up as possible and a restoration company called. The water had gushed through the vents and so much water ran down the walls that the drywall was rippled. Since it was late in the evening, it was decided that I would contact this restoration company in the morning on how we would proceed. When I called that restoration company, they told me they wouldn’t be able to accommodate me for 2 weeks! I was able to get in touch with Five Valleys and within a ½ hour they showed up and started the process of drying the apartment. In addition, the upstairs bathroom had to have flooring torn up and replaced, the vanity dried out and repainted as well as the walls. Every aspect of drying the apartment, tearing out the drywall and carpeting, and restoring carpet, walls, painting, and some new cabinetry went without a hitch. Special kudos to Tracey, the project manager who oversaw the process. She explained everything her team would be doing as well as was in contact with the insurance company providing them with emails, detailed documentation, photos, and explanations for her reasoning for remediation that the insurance adjustor had overlooked when he was on-site. The entire team at Five Valleys was in contact with me as to when they would be show up and what they would be taking care of that day. Each team member was respectful, considerate, and understanding. The final project ended up being a $35K disaster…which was very stressful and emotionally draining since I needed to find a place for my tenants to live and I was living in a mess. Tracey worked at making the remediation as painless as possible. She went to bat with the insurance company to cover many aspects of restoration that if overlooked could have been costly to me. When I was out of town during this time, my granddaughter was house sitting. Tracey and her team were in contact with my granddaughter to keep her notified of when they would be arriving at the house. At the time I was out of town, Tracey visited with the flooring company, emailed me pics of the flooring choices and helped me decide on colors. It’s not often you find this kind of quality customer service anymore. I highly recommend Five Valleys for all the services they offer…Carpet cleaning, painting, drywall, flooring installation, mitigation, water damage and clean up. Five Valleys came in after another restoration company had made a mess of the project and saved the day. I had worked with them in the past on another project, but when there was a major house fire, I did not know that I could hire anyone I wanted to complete the work so I hired one of State Farms preferred vendors with great regrets. Had Five Valleys been able to start the project and finish to completion, all would be good. They did everything in their power to bail me out of a very bad situation and I will use them for any and all projects in the future. I highly recommend the company and especially Tracy for their honesty and professionalism. This is a company that truly cares about its customers.

Initially thought they were going to work out well. They responded to my call about a burst pipe promptly and got someone there that night. However that is the end of the positives. During the drying process I had to reach out multiple times to get an update for progress as I was t provided them on the agreed upon time. Additionally from the first day I told them my preference would be for them to handle repairs. This was communicated to both the guy on-site and our project manager. It took 3.5 weeks with multiple unreturned calls to get any form of estimate for repairs. Requests to work with a different project manager were brushed aside and met with empty promises of “she’ll get back to you today”. In the meantime they removed all heating equipment without communication and did not sure the heat was fully on, leaving our cabin to refreeze and cause significant further damage and a significant increase in cost to repair. The only response was we can send someone out and charge you further to fix our mess. Would not recommend.
