  I grew up with Fred and went with his company for a flip house I was doing. They did the job what left some parts lying around and when I went to show him that his crew could have cleaned up better, he became belligerent and upset with me. He threatened to put a lien on the house even though I was holding the check in my hand for the job. Childish and unprofessional. He was that way as a kid also. Some people never change. I also found out they left the cut out for a down spout in the gutters that then clogged up the gutter and made water overflow into my landscaping and mess that up. DO NOT USE THEM.

  After having my review from Facebook deleted, I opted to post here as well. My experience with Excel has been very unfortunate so far. On August 7th Excel came out and gave me a quote for new gutters on my entire house. Fred (The owner) told me he had projects 3 weeks out, but should be able to squeeze me in earlier since it was such a small project. He told me he would paint my fascia if I left a can of paint out at no additional cost. Basically promised me the easiest time I could imagine. On August 8th I paid for half the project $1000. I did this because he told me if I paid before the 9th he could order on the 9th and the materials would be delivered on the 16th. On the 16th I received no contact On August 19th I texted to ask if the materials came in. At this point he told me they were now 6-8 weeks out. On Sep 5th I sent a text asking for a status update. At Midnight that night I received what I assume were a set of drunken texts. But I was given a date of Sept 30th. On Sept 30th I sent a text asking for a status update. On Oct 1st I was told it would be the end of October. I asked for a refund or the materials that were already paid for. I've received a phone call with several stories about other customers, and an attempt to fudge what dates were given and when. I kept screenshots of every conversation I had. I left this same review on Facebook and it was deleted within the hour as well as another bad review regarding adding in extra fees.

  We hired this company in April of 2019 Paid 1660.00 for materials . We were told that we were on the wait list as there had been a lot of rain. This was the excuse for 4 months . No gutters. It’s now Oct. 2019 and not only can’t we get a reply by phone we also have no gutters . We have left numerous messages. No reply. It’s unfortunate that a company can scam people , but this one apparently does . I just hope no one else ends up hiring this company and has the same outcome we had.
