I wish we would have found Excel sooner. We struggled through almost 2 years of repairing and other issues with our roof. When we finally decided to replace it, we had several companies bid on the project. From start to finish, Excel was responsive, professional and very diligent about making sure we had all the info/status we needed. We took a while to make a decision, and when we did the supplier had run out of our materials, but Excel not only hounded them daily about status but also gave us options to consider to make sure we had other paths if we needed them. When our materials came in they scheduled quickly and got to work. We had constant updates on status and what to expect, and they really took care of our property, treating it like they would want vendors to treat their own. As a small HOA we struggle to find good vendors, and Excel is amazing. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I was given the name of Bob Joyce at Excel roofing by a trusted friend in the shingle industry.  My buddy did not fail me.  Very professional with attention to detail and communication throughout the process.  On time which was important.  Highly recommend.  This is where you should go.  Thanks Excel team!

Excel Roofing was very responsive when I called them after a recent hail storm. Matt (and Excel) inspected our roof and provided everything we needed for our insurance company and HOA. They competed the installation of our new roof and gutters quickly and answered any questions/concerns courteously and quickly. I definitely recommend Excel.

STAY AWAY FROM EXCEL ROOFING!!!  Excel Roofing is the WORST company of any kind we have ever dealt with.  They are INCOMPETENT and do not know what they are doing.  They cut a 15-ft long hole on our cathedral ceiling in their attempt to install a ridge vent they up-sold us on.  They left a big mess for us to deal with & roofing that is a complete mess.  We are dealing with ice dams, ponding on the flat roof, cheap fix (more like cover-up) on the 15-ft long hole they cut using cheap insulation that violates building code requirements (less than half the R-value of what they took out & county code requires) and a literal mess of debris inside our home to clean up in our kitchen, dining, & living rooms.

Owner is non-responsive.  Took almost  TWO MONTHS to even acknowledge the damage Excel Roofing caused.  Not one of the inspectors we hired could believe that a roofing company can screw up this badly by chopping up every single layer of protection we have, including the ceiling.  Now, the owner is hiding behind emails & lawyer.  We had to get inspections done & hire a lawyer and are now headed to court to get a judgement against them.  There are many other good roofing companies you can hire who will not screw you like Excel Roofing screwed us.  Also, be aware that roofing companies in Colorado are NOT regulated or required to be licensed.  Yep!  Colorado requires your barber/hair stylist to know what they are doing - they have to take classes & show they are competent in that field by training and testing but just about anybody can say they are a roofing company & set up shop in Colorado.  There is no regulatory agency to complain to that will yank their license if they do something illegal or cause damage like they did to our home.  You are on your own so choose wisely & do your homework.  Do NOT trust all the positive reviews either because we did that and Excel Roofing had many good reviews but EVERY SINGLE INSPECTOR that inspected our roofing installed by Excel Roofing thought it was done by a fly-by-night type of company that they sometimes call "hail chasers" - they were shocked when they found out it was Excel.  BE SAFE & NOT SORRY AFTER THE FACT.  Avoid Excel Roofing just like you would avoid a pandemic.  We wish we NEVER even heard of Excel Roofing.

UPDATE:  What the owner, J Bretz, said on here is true - we have NOT paid Excel for damaging our house.  We will use that money to pay a competent roofing company to redo the entire roofing.  The entire job they did is so bad that it has to be completely redone.  What Mr. Bretz failed to mention is that the DAMAGE they did to our house will cost us thousands to repair.  Furthermore, we now have to replace an entire side/section of our garage wall's stucco because Excel's shoddy work was not allowing the water on the garage roof to drain properly because they did not flash it.  All the water on that roof was going behind the gutter, inside the wall and damaging that entire wall.  All those things have to be repaired PLUS we have to get the entire roofing replaced AND repair the damage Excel Roofing caused and subsequently "covered up" with cheap insulation and workmanship.  We can only describe our experience with Excel using one word:  NIGHTMARE!  Again, please choose your roofing contractor carefully because you will have to spend your time, money and energy IF they damage your house like Excel damaged ours.  The owner even had the nerve to have his attorney threaten to sue us for "DEFAMATION" for posting this HONEST review - which we dared him to proceed with.  Obviously, Mr Bretz would rather spend money on his lawyers to intimidate us instead of fixing his company's major screw up & repairing our house.  BE VERY CAREFUL with Excel Roofing - find another roofing contractor who will care about your house & take pride in their work.  There are many out there.  It is too late for us but we hope you learn from our experience.

Excel has not been paid any money for this job.  Excel continues to seek resolution with Mr. Tesfaye, and is willing to have the cost of any work we did, re-done by other contractors and subtracted from our pay.  Unfortunately he is unwilling to meet in person, use a mediator, or arbitrator to resolve this situation.  Excel  looks forward to resolution of this matter. Excel Roofing just completed a full reroof and installed attic ventilation for our home in Colorado Springs, after the last hail storm. They were involved from the very start, when we had to make a claim with our insurance. I highly recommend consulting with a true roof insurance expert like Excel Roofing, as there are a lot of details one can easily miss if not in the field on a regular basis.

From start to finish Geoff was nothing but amazing to work with and managed the project for us flawlessly! The work was executed in a day and our house was left clean and looking beautiful with the new roof.

Following the recommendation J, the owner of the company, who not only knows the work and field in detail but is also extremely approachable if needed, we now also have a solar attic fan, which is extremely quiet, works non-stop and helps with the efficiency of the overall energy consumption of our home.

I would not recommend anyone else to work with for any roof repairs and replacement needs.

Mark Lewis and the Excel Roofing team did a great job helping me out with a new roof. Mark came out and worked with my insurance claims adjuster to make the process as smooth as silk. They installed the new roof a few days ahead of schedule and it looks great!  Great cleanup after the job; you never knew they were there. We used Excel Roofing several years ago to install additional ventilation in the roof to increase the efficacy of our attic fan. When we had our home exterior painted, our painter noticed some bad spots on the eaves, so we had Excel out to fix it. They are always prompt and professional, and I feel confident in their ability to evaluate and repair any roof situation. Highly recommend.

Bob and his amazing crew replaced our roof in one day. They were prompt, professional, respectful of our property, and left only after a complete clean up of the site.

Excel Roofing was refered by my insurance agent. Provided a quick inspection and a reasonable price. Once we dodged the weather, completed the roof replacement in 1 day, with thorough clean up and re-installment of my satellite dish. Called again after 2 days of rain to make sure everything was good. Nice to have a company and rep that cared about there work and their reputation.
