  Ericsen Contracting came recommended to me by a neighbor who had a new roof put on about 10 years ago. The neighbors roof looks great and they haven't had any issues. I did a bit of research into Ericsen and there were not that many reviews, but the few that were out there were all positive, so I decided to give them a call. They responded within a day or two and came out to the house to give me a quote. Eric was THE ONLY contractor I had out to the house that actually got on the roof to take a look and measure. He was also THE ONLY one to identify that there was no underlayment on the roof (i.e. the original roof was not done to code). This was after 3 other contractors (including two big box stores) had come to give me an estimate...and the rest of them all estimated 2-3 squares higher than what I needed (a significant savings if you look at the per square cost roofers charge). After about a week Eric gave sent me over a quote and it was VERY well priced, so I decided to go with him. The job included a stripping a detached garage and house and re-roofing both (about 26 squares total), plus the replacement of 5 skylights. They also replaced a few areas of the roof decking where there was water damage. Eric and his team showed up when they said they would, worked hard in the blazing sun, did everything to code or better (including getting the permit from the town), and cleaned up after themselves. If you are looking for a quality job that is reasonably priced, give Eric a call.
