  We hired Elder Construction to install concrete fiberboard lap siding to enclose a garage. As you can see in the photos, no underlayment or vapor barrier was installed. Nails were shot into the exposed lap boards causing leaks. No weather protection was used anywhere and now water seeps in from the outside. The garage floor is higher than driveway pavement, but water still infiltrates since weatherproofing was not done. Elder Construction does not know how to install a basic exterior wall. Some of the exterior trim was placed over the lap siding, which is incorrect. The gaps caused by those mistakes were filled with tons of non-silicone based caulk which now has cracks. Gaps up to one inch were filled with caulk. After watching a few youtube videos on lap siding installation, I could have done a much better job myself. Elder Construction also forged my signature on their invoice and submitted it to my Better Business Bureau complaint. Just look at the photos, they speak for themselves.

  Elders construction was a great choice for replacing our roof. They got it finished in a matter of days quicker than they expected and he matched the lowest price. I highly recommend!!!

  Has been an absolute pain working for them and a very unprofessional and shady company with apparently no office workers or anyone to handle finance and wants money upfront amd through you and not the insurance I have been arguing for days about how they need to handle the payment but they have been extremely unprofessional and irritating to work with
