  My roof (GAF brand) was installed by Eiseman in 2011. I noticed gradually increasing water leak near closet corner in recent years, which is close to chimney. I called a chimney inspection and they found there is no flashing installed between chimney and roof, which should be taken care by the roof installer. I called Eiseman and asked if they could come to take a look and if there is anything they can help in this case. They told me it has passed 5 years and they are not responsible even if there is no flashing (they just claimed that flashing could be taken off later after installation...). They told me to open a claim with the roof manufacturer GAF, which makes no sense since the installer should know how to install the roof correctly. I doubt if Eiseman knows what is required on the roof and if they are qualified to do their job. Do not trust this if you need a roof installer.

  I have interacted with Eiseman in several different contexts over time. Firstly, every experience I have had with Eiseman's repair personnel has been overwhelmingly positive, as they are knowledgeable and personable. Once, I was able to have a fabulous conversation with one of their repairmen about the Japanese plants he noticed in the yard and how he had similar ones. This happened after he took the time to come out and not only repair some flashing in an efficient and careful manner, but also advise me on further repairs that may be needed without being overbearing, as some repairmen can be. Other Eiseman repairmen have been just as professional and exemplify their commitment to their relationship with their customers. The roof did finally need to be replaced and the roofing crew was hard-working, careful, and completed excellent work. I mostly tried to stay out of their way, as they were quite focused, but enjoyed glancing at the work along the way. The crew worked diligently from the start of the day through the evening, and did not even seem phased by the extremely hot weather. They fully installed a cedar roof, which was desperately overdue, and did so to a high standard. Despite this being a sizable undertaking, the crew was able to finish the job ahead of schedule without sacrificing quality. I have seen other cedar roofing jobs done by other companies which were not installed with nearly as high quality. I have always heard that cedar roofs can be difficult and are not ideal for every home (even as beautiful as they are), but Eiseman was helpful throughout the process and walked me through all of the expectations I should have. In the end, their work was impeccable. Some time has passed since that replacement, and we are still just as thrilled and love showing off the roof to friends. Overall, the experiences that we have had with Eiseman across multiple interactions and roofing needs have been positive and reflect the kind of company they pride themselves to be. Great all around!

  Many safety issues....when called to report...was told a foreman would call me back and never did. When I called again... person I spoke to was very rude, unprofessional, questioned what I witnessed with my own eyes. When I asked his position and to speak to owner...he replied..."no, I would never get to speak to owner" that if I spoke to anyone it would be him. I assume the owner approves the way he speaks to clients in a rude manor...since owner doesn't care enough to speak to clients when there are major safety issues. Updating review....if I could take away 1 star & give 0....we would. Once job was completed....after we inspected....found that an area of roof the plywood was not replaced as per agreement. The plywood left had splits and holes and you could see roofing materials through attic view. Upon Eiseman coming back out....which took MONTHS!!!!! They confirmed that the job was not completed properly....in which they now had to take a section of roofing off and re-do correctly. When doing so...they damaged our new gutter....which they refuse to come back and replace. Their professionalism, safety and quality of work is not one we would recommend.
