  Bad communication...had a surprise delivery, with no prior communication about the date. Good thing I happened to be home! We just bought our place and negotiated roof repairs to be covered by the sellers. Money was held in escrow for it so the check needed to be cut by the law office. Had I been told when I would get the delivery I would have had the check ready. Since they showed up at my door unannounced, I called and explained the payment situation. The woman on the phone was very unhelpful and unprofessional and kept repeating “it’s COD, it’s COD.” Then proceeded to talk to “the boss” (not on mute...the tones were very unprofessional and rude.) So after asking 3 times I was finally told “COD” means cash (or check) upon delivery. Anyway, it all worked out, the drivers were incredibly kind and professional and waited while I phoned the law office to cut the check and worked everything out - the sassy lady on the phone was wanting to send them all the way back with the metal until the check was ready. I guess they’d rather pay their employees to make return trips then make a simple phone call letting someone know when their metal would be delivered so they could have COD ready. Not the most efficient way to run a business but hey 🤷🏼‍♀️

  Nellie, we apologize for any communication issues that you had with your order. We are a small business that strives on trying to do everything possible to make our customers happy. We would have called and informed you when your metal delivery was coming, but we did not have your phone number. We only had the contractor phone number. We try to get the payment up front now because we have delivered Orders in the past and got stuck with the bill. I will take full responsibility for what happened yesterday and I apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you.
