  Used this company back in 2009 & 2010 to build on Lake Vermilion. The owner was irresponsible, unprofessional & difficult to reach. The people he hired to do the work had little training & did horrible work. My husband had to act as the contractor and had to have much of the work redone due to many mistakes. It took a couple years to complete the building that was relatively small. The owner took no responsibility for anything. It was very tempting to file charges against him for not honoring the contract but decided we never wanted to have any more contact with him.

  Very poor quality work, had to have others fix what they did. Unfortunately found out after we hired them that they have a long history of issues that quickly emerged as we were trying to get a project finished. The owner, Eric L. Howard, we were told by a local inspector apparently rearranged his name when he reemerged in the business. We were told he had built a reputation under his name that was hard to shake. Again, people came out of the woodwork warning us unfortunately after we had already hired him and we were trying to figure out how to proceed. He was adamant that his work met state minimums (he seemed to take pride that his guys met the bottom minimums), as I was adamant we receive at least decent quality when he had promised us "leader quality" of which we had paid for. I can't recommend him or his business for any size or scope of work.

  Did siding job took forever and then didn't even leave me any of the extra materials. Would never use again.
