  Is always my first stop, over the big boxes. They almost always have exactly what I need, even when that thing dosen't exist, and I am making it out of something else. That is when they really shine, because the staff are willing and ready to help you figure out what might work and show you right were it is.

  Staff are always courteous and knowledgeable. Modest fee for home delivery of topsoil, peat, compost and lumber is worth it to us. In-store stock is much less that big-box stores and prices are a bit higher, but the convenience of local shopping is well worth the price. And they are truly LOCAL!
