  My father-in-law had Drawdy install a new roof on his home in 2019. He is currently selling his home but the roof failed inspection. The inspector (s) said that the roof was installed over rotten wood among other problems. When contacted by the realtor Drawdy refused to take responsibility or make repairs. In order to sell his house now my father-in-law is having to pay $8k + for roof repairs to someone who knows what he is doing.

  Mrs. Morris, I apologize for the delay but I was able to personally look into this. We did come look at your father-in-law's house and there was no rotten wood on the roof. We inspected all of the decking from the attic. In addition to our inspection, you will notice on the home inspectors report, there is no rotten wood in any of his pictures either. The issues he noted were dips in the decking. As we explained to Mr. Morris, this is a structural issue, and has nothing to do with the roof we installed. It is an issue with how far apart the rafters are on the roof. Unfortunately this is something we have seen quite a bit, however, it is not an issue that stems from our workmanship. We deal with home inspectors all the time, and would have been more than happy to speak to the inspector and help in any way we could.

  Contracted with Drawdy Roofing in July of 2016 to replace my home's roof. The salesman praised how Drawdy was better than the competition, how they had a 5 year guarantee and how customer satisfaction was important to them. He also stated how they would work on a weekend if required to finish the job. They started the job on a Thursday and came back on Friday to complete the job. By Friday afternoon they ran out of shingles before finishing the job. I personally called the salesman Rick about this issue and was told there was nothing that could be done until the following Monday. So much for the working on the weekend to finish a job. That was the first red flag! On the evening of Friday, May 10, 2019 I noticed a wet spot on the ceiling in my kitchen. Keep in mind the roof is not quite 3 years old yet. Called Drawdy first thing the following Monday, May 13th to inform them of the leak and was told they don't guarantee storm damage repairs. It was explained to the woman that answered this call that the roof did not have storm damage but was leaking for some other reason. I asked if they could send someone out to try and figure out why my roof was leaking but she said they didn't have anyone they could send out at this time. She said she would inform Rick about our problem and he would call us. We didn't receive a return call so we called back on the 15th and 20th of May 2019. Each time we reminded the Drawdy representative of the 5 year guarantee, we were told they still didn't have anyone to send out to see about our roof. So evidently the 5 year guarantee is not worth the paper it is printed on and I can NOT recommend Drawdy Roofing to anyone!

  Mrs. Allegood, I looked into this issue and I see where we have recently taken care of this leak for you. We do apologize for the delay, we are still helping customers from Hurricane Michael. According to our files, this work order has been on our schedule since you called, so we had no intentions of not looking at this for you. I am so sorry if you were informed otherwise. While the Hurricane may have voided some warranties, we can't make that decision without looking at it first. We certainly will always come out and do what we can for our customers. I have reminded my staff of how this process is to be handled to make sure we are on the same page. Please reach out to us if you have anymore issues with your roof.   Very very very unproffesional. Called three different times to get a quote on an awning. I had other quotes and wanted to give them a shot at stealing the business. Ladies on the phone were very rude and not helpful. I had a deadline to meet which was over a couple days just for a quote and could not get a call back nor a time of a possibility when I would get a call... great job you just lost a $10,000 sale

  According to our records, this customer contacted us on 2/28, which was yesterday, to get an estimate. It is tax season right now and we do have a lot of calls coming in, but even under normal circumstances, our customary practice is for a salesman to contact customers to make an appointment for estimates within 48 hours.
