  OVERCHARGED/WORK INCOMPLETE/NO REFUND FOR WORK NOT PERFORMED BUT PAID FOR Crown Roofing performed repairs 2 years ago to resolve any issues with my metal roof (approximately 15 years old). Quote (was expensive) included replacement of 5 boots with screens & tighten/replace 60 loose/missing screws. Recently had them recheck roof due to animals getting into my attic/walls. The quote was almost as much as 2 years ago (but now included flashing to close animal access openings) plus sealant (cracked) replacement now needed (not sure why this wasn’t mentioned 2 years ago?) at the joints as well as replace a boot that they evidently missed last time (was not charged for it previously though). And then I was told I needed screens to go over the boots. I looked back on my previous contract and the screens were on there and they had failed to install them. I told them I no longer trusted them and asked for my money back for the covers/screens on the boots (so I could take my business elsewhere). I was told there was no value to those. Shysters!!!!!! BEWARE😳

  I usually do not write reviews for services until after the work is fully completed, but I would like to write to let you know about the great experience with Crown Roofing thus far thanks to Scott, Pete, Richard and Alexandra. From the beginning, Richard Westbrook's consultation paved the way for what I know would be a professional, top tier experience. Upon first meeting with Richard his knowledge of roofing was immediately apparent. He understood the problem, he knew the products and he knew what was necessary to fix it. On top of all that, Richard's genuine personality allowed me to trust him. Richard is a rare sales professional who also knows the technical application of the product. His knowledge on roofing is 2nd to none. Richard took the time to explain everything thoroughly and presented a full proposal. Crown Roofing also offers a guarantee on their workmanship which made me feel confidant in the repair quality. On repair day, I met with Scott and Pete who would be working the job. Arriving promptly on time and ready to go, Scott took the time to introduce himself and walk back through the scope of work. He was prepared to look at everything and understand what had to be done. Scott said from the beginning that he and Pete would take great care of me and my home. Unfortunately many companies I have used in the past want to rush jobs, this is not the case with Scott and Pete. They were here to do the job once, and to do the job right! A dynamic duo of roofing specialists. These guys are the roofing equivalent to Batman and Robin - Superheros! Fighting the inefficiencies in roofing and allowing me to sleep at night! In a full day's work, I was left impressed... WOW! This is what great customer service, and skill application looks like. I would like to give praise to these two gentlemen for really going above and beyond for my job so far. My previous roofer couldn't fix what Crown Roofing along with Scott, Pete and Richard were able to take care of thus far. When you have a team working in synergy like this, it is rare and Crown is fortunate to have them. Although weather and scheduling did include a few snafus to the plan, Alexandra was professional and as accommodating as possible. I did need to wait to have the work completed but I am left saying WOW... Crown Roofing is worth the wait. These guys are TRUE PROFESSIONALS at what they do! Thank you to Scott, Pete and Richard. I have no hesitation in recommending them for a job well done so far. I'm glad I have the roofing guarantee, but I have a feeling we won't need to use it based on the quality of work done the first time. Dan

  They were very quick to put on my roof late last December into January. Finished in 2 weeks. Called them over a week ago as we noticed a cracked tile- was told by Laney that we would have to pay for the repair- minimum of $300 (mind you the roof was over $35k). Asked to speak to her manager/ owner. Given a number whose voicemail is full. Dishonest, and bad business.
