  I'm NOT impressed. First of all, they don't answer their phones or return messages. When i finally contact them, I make an appointment months in advance and noone calls to confirm the appointment....I had to call to verify it was still set. Then they come to the house and one looks at the chimney from the roof while the other sits on the fireplace mantle reading off the text message from the guy on the roof explaining they cannot clean the chimney because it's not lined but simply of stone and mortar; then says she cannot advice to use it or not to use it but to contact a guy in New Braunfels, which is 2 hours away, to possibly redo the whole fireplace. The guy on the roof never even came into my house to talk to me about options, recommendations, etc.. , but instead both literally drove off. The fireplace has worked well since 1987! I just wanted it cleaned.😒 Guess I should be happy they at least locked my gate when they left.

  I am sorry you had a bad experience with our company. I would love to address the issues you had. We are a two person team. I'm sorry we did not return your calls or messages in the time frame you expected. We do normally give a call 15-30 minutes before the appointment to let you know we would be on our way. We called you about 30 min before and also when we were on our way as you asked so you could put your animals up. While I (LJ) was on the roof inspecting your chimney i noticed the fireplace was not lined. I then sent my wife (Mandy) a message stating what i found, so while i was reinstalling the chimney cap and removing the extention ladder from the 1st story roof to the ground to get down, she could explain to you what the unlined fireplace meant. I did not see a reason to return into the house to explain the same exact thing my wife did. We do not do repairs of this nature. She recommended you to a company that we know is big enough to fix the issues we noted in the inspection. One of my wife's many jobs in this company is to relay what i find incorrect about chimney systems to the customer so they understand. The fireplace may have worked great since 1987 but the mortar and the bricks in the unlined fireplace have been heated up to points they were not designed to be heated to. We use mechanical brushes and when we we attach them to a drill and start them up the brick and mortar would get destroyed. We did not charge you a service call which is normally $125 for your area, so you could take that money and put it twords making your fireplace safe to use. One again i apologize you had a bad experience with our company.

  Excellent husband and wife team! I decided to call and have our chimney inspected by them and once they arrived they were so honest about how my chimney didn’t need cleaning at this time. Most people would have lied and took the money but they were so honest and kind. Thank you for your exceptional service and keep up the good work!!!

  This husband and wife team are just awesome. Scheduling was easy and friendly over the phone with a courtesy call the day before to confirm the appointment. They arrived in a professional work vehicle with their logo. They did a quick but very thorough job cleaning our wood stove and gave me advice for better self maintenance and cleaner burning. They even inspected my other roof vent I was concerned about and didn't charge me. It was a pleasant professional experience from start to finish. I highly recommend them!
