  Coleman Roofing is locally owned and operated out of the Tyler area. I obtained bids from 5 different companies and eventually contracted with Kurt Coleman. Several other companies never included items like drip edge and rolled roofing because they weren't on the original roof installed 18 years ago. That meant that if I didn't know those items were either code or recommended for a quality roof installation, those companies would have installed a new roof without essential components for a quality roof. Kurt was very concerned about making sure our roof would be installed using components essential to provide a long-lasting roof system. He worked patiently and diligently with our insurance company to ensure we would get a quality roof without us spending more money than we should have to spend. Another prominent roofing company from Tyler would have had us spend an additional $7000 out of pocket to get some of what we wanted. Kurt managed to get the roof covered citing multiple roofing code standards to bring our roof up to code. Kurt's communication was excellent throughout the process, keeping me up to date with what was happening and setting expectations. In the end, we ended up with a beautiful new roof that far exceeds the quality and look of the house from when we purchased it new. Kurt provided flexibility of materials and addressed all my concerns throughout the process. He takes pride in all aspects of the job from dealing with the insurance to making sure everything is properly cleaned up upon completion. I highly recommend Coleman Roofing. He provides a high quality job with a locally owned approach. You know you have found the right company when the owner looks at you and says, "Hey, that's my name on the sign..." with reference to the integrity of the job.
