  Cole Brothers lists FREE ESTIMATES on their website, but after I contacted them for roof repair, they said they would charge $125 to come out and give an estimate. I find that unethical because they listed otherwise on their website. I have found 3 roofers who are coming to give free estimates. I believe it's good business to get estimates and a feel for the company before hiring. If all roofing companies did what Cole Brothers did, we'd pay $375 just to get 3 estimates. This forces out competition... good for the companies, bad for the public.
