I took advantage of the free roofing inspection service that Citadel Roof and Restoration offers because I knew I had a small leak over my roof extension, but I couldn't locate the dang thing. These guys took one look at the "evidence" and pinned down my problem in about 20 minutes. They were able to squeeze in my repair 2 days later and voila! I now have ZERO LEAKS. Citadel Roof and Restoration easily deserves this 5 star review. :))

We hired Citadel Roofing and Restoration to refinish the hardwood floors in our home. What a disappointment! The crew sent to sand the floors did not finish the first day and were told to go elsewhere the next day. They apologized as they left at the end of the day. This was the beginning of what was to become absolutely terrible prep. The person responsible to finish the sanding did an acceptable job on the main floor, but the floor in the master bath was terrible. We weren’t aware of the poor sanding job in the bath until the guys sent to polyurethane the floor asked me to take a look after they had put on the first coat. Areas of 1/8”-3/4” around the edges that were dark from the old finish. There were bristles, dog hairs, etc. in the new finish, indicating lack of adequately cleaning the area before applying the poly. This lack of cleaning continued on the main floor, as evidenced by more hairs, bristles, and dust in the finish. There were several places on the steps and at the base of the steps that had “holidays” that looked like there was very little, if any, poly. The original poly that they had applied was a semi-gloss product especially made for floors. The guy they sent to take care of the “holidays” went over the areas with a regular poly instead of the same poly for floors. There were planks that were only partially recoated. When this poly dried, it had a high gloss finish (a wet look), and there was a striking difference from the rest of the floor. After numerous attempts to contact Citadel to correct things, their best response was that they would pay for a gallon of flooring poly for me to apply. I have not received any response to my last two emails sent to Citadel. Two days after they had finished, I decided to put a coat of poly on the baseboard trim and used 3M’s “Delicate Finish” painter’s tape on the edges of the newly finished floor to protect it. Upon completion, as I pulled up the tape, areas of the poly pulled off the floor with the tape. This seems to be a further indication that the floor was not cleaned adequately, and the poly did not adhere well. I am now in the process of trying to find another company that can correct the terrible finish on my floors.

The two Jeffs and their crew replaced my gutters and the rotten boards behind them. Also installed gutter guards and rerouted a downspout. Everything I asked for done on time and for a much better price than others I checked.
