  Our home required a complete overhaul due to the Feb '21 winter storm. Initially, the customer service was outstanding, with the company going above and beyond. The quality of our home has been exceptional, but once the extensive renovation of the house was done, it appears the company no longer cares about quality customer service. We are left in limbo on minor things that need to be completed while insurance checks clear the bank. The relationship started excellently, but as of today, my excitement has vanished because we cannot get the last few tasks completed or a response about missing items from items they stored for us. I wanted to use them for other small projects but now I can't wait for this to be over so we can cut ties.

  Dear Crystal M. I read your review and I was very concerned. The content you expressed and photos presented were not the same process our company experienced when we first met your family on February 18, 2021. When we met, your family and your house was devastated by the freeze. This process began through your insurance carrier and we provided full service to remediate and renovate your property. When we received the Goggle notification, the first concern was the photos you posted were not from the completed job, but taken during the renovation process where there is contractors paper taped to the floor. This means the photos were deliberately selected to create a misrepresentation of the services provided. Your home had been professionally cleaned after renovations and all paper and protective flooring removed. As to the remodel, we document every renovation and have over 200 photos from the day we first met, to show the progress of the remodel. We also have photos of the updates we were happy to provide for “no additional charge” and were not a part of your insurance estimate-but for some reason were not mentioned in the review: -Master shower remodel -Larger closet walls -Opened kitchen/dining -Recessed lighting -Under cabinet lighting -New exterior gutters -Full exterior house painting -And more. You also mentioned missing items from your home. The home was completely damaged and several items were destroyed from water. During this process it can be very difficult to reclaim items during catastrophic events. As a full-service mitigation and remediation company, our pack-out services require we provide documentation of every item we pack and store for clients. We have over 100 inventory pages which were provided to you and your husband for review. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you locate. Additionally, we haven’t completed our Close Out of your insurance claim which includes the Final Walk through. The date has moved many times due to your families difficult schedule. We also haven’t received final payment for the job, so money can’t be a factor of us failing to finish a job due to receiving payment. We are well aware of the minor details that are to be completed. It is also necessary for all insurance claims to have the insured sign the necessary Job Completion Forms required to submit to the carrier. Champion Contracting Services is available to discuss any additional questions or concerns you may have.
