Working with the Cedar Roof Coatings team was a seamless process from start to finish, from the reception of the estimate to the conclusion of the job. Their team was nothing but respectful and knowledgeable. I highly suggest working with CRC, and cannot ever see using another company when I need to address my roof again.

Michael and the entire Cedar Roof Coatings team are awesome! My wife and I recently purchased a home with a cedar roof. I had no idea that it needed to be treated, protected, etc. It was bought to my attention during the inspection. When I googled a service, I found CRC, and they were incredible. They explained to me exactly how the process works and what to expect. They were incredibly professional and transparent. If you've got a cedar roof, CRC are your guys!

This company are untrustworthy and completely unreliable, do not use. I called 4 times over the period of 2 months, each time being told someone would call to schedule an appointment to replace some cedar shingles and inspect my roof. The secretary told me that Michael had been given the messages. Finally, I spoke to Michael who scheduled the work for 5th October. I was going away and was assured this work would be done whilst I was away. I called when I returned on 24th October, concerned, as a couple of shingles were on the ground. I was assured the work had been completed, the workmen must have left the broken shingles behind and that the report would be emailed to me by Michael. On 28th October I receive a call from the company telling me that, actually, they've been very busy and the work was never done. No apology. I was told that with a few days of rain ahead it could be another 2 weeks wait. The secretary was matter of fact and quite rude. If my roof leaks before I manage to have it repaired by another company I will be commencing legal proceedings.

Hi Samantha, I’d like to start by apologizing as I recognize you did not receive the level of customer fulfilment (experience) as we at CRC are used to delivering, and I understand your frustration. I’d like to address your review below: “This company are untrustworthy and completely unreliable, do not use. I called 4 times over the period of 2 months, each time being told someone would call to schedule an appointment to replace some cedar shingles and inspect my roof.” I find this assessment to be insincere – as there was zero demonstration of us being dishonest, deceitful or false-hearted. You called and we scheduled the roof repair for October 5th. Unfortunately – our schedule is predicated by the weather, so when it rains- one project gets pushed – they all get pushed. This was the case with your roof. We had it scheduled 2x – and the weather didn’t allow on both occasions. Just to reiterate once it rains – the entire schedule gets backed up. We’re unable to work the day it rains, and we can’t work the day after. This creates scheduling conflicts. We had every intention of inspecting your roof and performing the repairs for you. We DO NOT send our crews on roofs in hazardous conditions. “I called when I returned on 24th October, concerned, as a couple of shingles were on the ground. I was assured the work had been completed, the workmen must have left the broken shingles behind and that the report would be emailed to me by Michael. If my roof leaks before I manage to have it repaired by another company I will be commencing legal proceedings.” If you were told that the work was completed – this was a miscommunication between operations and the office staff. And when the team connected on our weekly meeting – I instructed Allison to call and inform you about the situation and that we still have you on schedule and will be there within 2 weeks to get these repairs accomplished for you. If you didn’t receive friendly service over the phone, or felt the communication was discourteous – I personally apologize and will address my staff internally. Its always our intention to deliver polite service to our clients. Its apparent to me the communication to you was lacking and I offer our apologies. It’s my hope that you’ll better understand the reasoning to why the repairs hadn’t taken place yet. I’m available to discuss further if you’d like – and I will undoubtedly be addressing this transaction with my entire staff.
