  After 8 months of getting CDB construction to turn in the paperwork was a difficult task. When we were able to close they backed out of the deal and left me homeless. So if your a disabled vet like myself stay far away from this company.

  I sincerely feel for Mr. Tennison and his situation however, The holdups were caused by the VA and the bank recommended by the VA. We have built several homes for veterans and the only reason we do it is because they are veterans. Dealing with the lenders for the VA proves to be very time consuming and costly. This particular bank took it to a level where it was beginning to cost CDB a substantial amount of money. We did however, purchase the building permit, dig the perk holes and purchase the septic permit for Mr. Tennison at a cost we will never recover. As I wrote we truly feel for him however, there comes a point in business where you have to make a choice to stop the investing when the return looks to be unlikely. Hopefully someday the VA will come up with a better system to assist veterans with home builds.
