You will regret hiring Catalano. Don't be fooled by the first impression when they're trying to get your business. They will not follow through. The delays are ridiculous. The communication is bad. You will not know what the delays are for or when the delays will end, and you won't be able to reach Catalano by phone or text to find out. You and your family are worth more than the treatment Catalano will give you. The price may look attractive, but the work won't get done on time. Go with someone else. Spend an extra thousand dollars. You and your family are worth it.

Worst mistake to even consider them for work needing done in regards to a claim. The owner Randy did an assessment after showing up late, was cordial during the assessment and vaguely set expectations and made promises of sending for different types of materials. Then his office manager Shanna sent over a contract without any of the estimates promised at the time of the assessment. Multiple calls to Randy and the office were not returned and when I finally got a hold of the office manager Shanna she said Randy would call that day. After yet more time passed without any calls from Randy called back again repeatedly and when I was finally able to get a hold of the officer manager Shanna I advised that I would not be doing any upgrades through them just finish out the claim since they already had the insurance check. She promised to put me on the schedule right there if I would send the signed contract and pay the deductible up front which I did while on the phone. When I asked for the date to start work she quickly said she would call back and then disconnected the call. No contact since then, this contractor is unresponsive, lies, and completely shady. My advice to anyone that comes across this contractor is to RUN Update: absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. The only response I have ever received was to this review. This company will never respond otherwise; no return emails and no return on phone calls. They now have an answering service so they don’t have to talk to anyone. They have not done anything beyond an estimate and will not return my deductible Absolute scam!

Catalano offers decent work if you are willing to manage the project yourself. Their sub contractors seem to be adequate. But their planning, communications and follow-up are a mess. They make promises that they never keep and never pro-actively follow-up on project work. Calling them makes little difference since they never respond. My project is now 2 years old and is not complete. I have gone as long as 10 months with no call from them. I have no idea why USAA uses a company with standards this low. Catalano's response below is not true. We did not agree to put off repairs. I suggested that I could be "flexible" during the repairs because of Covid. Catalano responded "No, it's at the top of my list. I want to get this done." They subsequently scheduled 2 different times for repairs to begin and then did not show up to either appointment. I did not hear from them again for 10 months. I called, they stalled. Then didn't call back at all. They are responding now because I elevated the issue to the highest levels of USAA. Catalano is now being forced to fix the issue that they created 2 years ago!

As far as our records indicate, your project was completed in January of 2020 and due to the start of Covid, we had both agreed to halt the repairs to the warranty work until things settled down.
