  Absolute terrible place to buy material. Management is a joke. They’ve screwed up many orders of mine and promise to fix them and never do. They never have anything in stock. Always have to order everything in and then it’s never in when they promise. Every time I go in there they have new employees that have no idea what they are doing. Every problem I have all they do is say sorry. Do yourself a favor and go a block down the road to ABC supply. First time in there they gave me a hoody, a hat, and had everything I needed in stock.

  Absolutely horrible and time consuming. Watched the manager take my order and dump it on another employee who was helping someone else and on the phone trying to complete another person's and demanded he stopped what he was doing to get my order as the manager who took my order walked to the back and started smoking a cigarette in plain sight. Made me angry for the other employee actually working and the other customer. Took longer than expected in the store to get my items. Felt my time was wasted and didn't feel valued. Will not return.

  "Grace", We take complaints like this very seriously. I took the liberty of researching the complaint and unfortunately found no signs of the validity of your complaint. Not only did we find that the 2 managers on duty last week, when the complaint was posted, do not and never have smoked, but we also checked with the counter staff and have never heard of you or had a situation like that. On top of that, when we researched in our system there was never a time that a Grace Yazell has been in a Cardinal Building Materials store. Now, there is a chance that we could be missing something but the odds do not favor that. If this is an actual complaint and not someone just trying to do harm to the company, please call our branch and ask for Brian to discuss. If we do not hear from you this week and the complaint stays up, we will then take the next step in our process to ensure no wrong doing is being done to the company. We are a family business and have been invested into customer service as our number 1 focus since 1956. If this is a true complaint please call. We take our service VERY seriously. Sincerely, Brian

  Horrible place to do business with they messed up my order and said they would fix it after 9 weeks of waiting for call backs from manager(owners son) I returned siding they put my job way behind and wont take responsibility for there actions or return calls , you can never talk to same person twice. I will not buy so much as a nail from this place!!!!!!!!!!
