  Great Communication and a good overall experience. We had a few hiccups in my job, no real fault of the company but an error in shipping from the supplier. Communication was great. They kept me well informed. I would have given 5 stars if I didn't have to ask for bracing in areas where the original building construction was poor quality. In my opinion, a 5 star would have been given if the workers would have stepped up and said "look this needs to be done, its going to cost more, but to do it right...." etc. I felt like they just wanted to slap a roof on and get out as fast as possible. Some pride in workmanship was not what I saw, for instance a grinder and a cutoff wheel were used to cut kerfs for the flashing ... freehand... and that is just lazy. the lines are crooked and I have the photos to show it. It will work just fine. No problems there, I just feel like there should be more pride taken in the work. These are the little things that earn a company 5 stars. I would use them again, but I would damn sure go through every minute detail, like requesting a straight line be cut for kerfs to insert flashing, something I never thought I would actually have to ask for. I am happy, I am just giving my reasoning for not a 5 star job. The Price never changed. There was no attempt at a ridiculous upcharge at the end. They were happy to accommodate my changes etc. So, I would recommend to anyone with the caveat of specifying how particular you may be and knowing that the actual workers aren't interested in how you feel... or your perception.

  It started with Jason who promptly came out and was very professional in giving us an estimate of what the job would cost us. It was well within our budget so we contracted with Joe Campbell Roofing to do the job. Interestingly, we originally were interested in a metal roof but after Jason explained the potential for higher maintenance costs, we decided on a 40 year architectural shingle. This impressed us because he talked us out of a more expensive roof for a more practical option that made more sense for us. The crew they sent was outstanding. I was impressed by their attention to detail and expert craftsmanship. The job took a day and a half to complete. They were extremely friendly and did a phenomenal job at cleaning up. This was the 4th large project for us and we could not be more pleased with Joe Campbell Roofing. We highly recommend them to anyone wishing to have a professionally installed roof with absolutely no issues from start to finish. Lastly, they stand behind their work with a Lifetime Warranty (100% for the first 10 years) which provides us with peace of mind and confidence unparalleled in the industry.

  Website states “ FREE estimates to all homeowners with no obligations” when my wife and I called to set up an estimate we were told it would be $200. When notified of the discrepancy on their website we were informed that the “free estimate” would be applied if we decided on a new roof. Fix your website terminology as it is very deceptive. We’ve collected several bids to repair our roof, which were done for free, it wouldn’t make sense to pay $200 for a company we decided not to use. We will not be choosing Campbell. Edit: changing to a 3 star because the website was updated to reflect their actual policy. Was honestly not trying to be difficult when calling but felt like it should be more clear. Thank you for clarifying.

  We're very sorry for the confusion between "Inspections" and "Estimates." We absolutely do not charge any fees for a new roof estimate which is different from a roof inspection. We do charge a fee for a roof inspection due to the amount of work involved. Thank you for considering us for your roofing job.
