  We were very disappointed with this company. We are proud homeowners and we like our house to be as nice as possible. The roofers that came out did not seem like they respected us, our house or the company. I do understand that this was a BIG storm and they were trying to service many homes, but really. After the initial inspection, it was about 7 weeks until we got shingles delivered, this was expected due to the color of the shingles. We did not receive a courtesy call, like we had asked for. A week later, on a Friday, we called to inquire when the work would be done. Monday morning at 7:30, I received a call that they would be working that day; I was under the impression that they were on the way. At noon they finally showed up to work. At 3:00 I was told that they would not finish that day, but would show up at 7:30 the next morning. The crew did not show up until after 8:00. Obviously promptness is not a priority -- thank goodness I did not have to be anywhere. After the job was done there was debris everywhere. Nails galore and shingles and cigarette butts and sunflower seeds. It took us (my husband and I) several days to get things back to normal. :( There were also asphalt scratches on almost every single surface; almost every wall was marked and the driveway and front porch and patio and the front walk. Oh, and we also found a broken fascia board out back on the patio. :( I tried to call someone about it; I called and left a message and was told that the Supervisor would call me back that day or the next and I am still waiting. We will never use them again or recommend them. :( Now we have to live in an ugly, marked up house.

  First and foremost I want to say how sorry we are that you feel this way. I would although like to clarify a few things so maybe you will understand our situation a bit better. Your roof was contracted in Sept. and you had a shingle that was back-ordered. In early Nov. when we came to do your roof ,we had winter issues to deal with. The roofers cannot get on roofs if there is morning frost or moisture that could be dangerous. Shingles must be installed when temperature is at least 45 degrees or warmer for them to adhere correctly. As for the crew in question Calvin Found that their workmanship was very good but their communication and customer care was lacking so he let them go and found other crews that were better suited for his business expectations.

  Shortly after the massive hail storm hit the southern part of town on March 13, 2018 I called Calvin Turner Roofing. A lady answered the phone, took my name and number and said " one of our estimators will call you and we will get your roof checked. Nobody ever called us! No one ever came by to check our roof. I am just thankful that I didn't hire this unreliable company. The way a company treats customers is usually indicative of the quality of work they preform. This was a $9000.00 job and the insurance company has already issued us the funds to pay. I guess this company really doesn't need our business. All is well though as we will find a responsible roofer.CUSTOMER, BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! Answer to your reply: Excuse me. No one "EVER" from Calvin Turner Roofing called me until Sunday after I placed my review.. What you have stated below in you answer to my review is a bald face lie. I have a phone that records and lists all the numbers that have called me. There were no calls from your company. As a matter of fact I did not receive any calls where the number came up unknown to me until Sunday July 1, 2018. There were no messages left on my phone until that Sunday. I always return calls; except the guy that you had call me on Sunday July 1, 2018. He called while I was in church and left a message. I did not answer his call as I was in church. I am not going to return his call because I do not want to do business with you. Better get your facts straight!

  Mr. Bridges, Please accept our apology. The Hail storm that you are referring to was June 13th. 2018. When you called on June 20th. 2018 your information was given that day to our estimator, He has left you 2 messages and his contact info. If you did not recognize the number on caller ID it is because the cell phones they use do not come up Calvin Turner Roofing. It doesn't matter to us if your job is large or small we try to do the best job possible for all of our customers.

  Prompt response to a request for an estimate. Next day after approval, on the job. After meeting with Gary up on our roof, I knew he was the right guy for the job. We have a 6500 sq. ft. FLAT Roof plagued by leaks for years. Gary was like a detective working with very few clues but soon zeroed in on some possible problem areas - - some leaks he found were out of sight unless one laid down on the gravel and looked in very tight areas. That “one “ was Gary . . . . Laying in the gravel and sniffing out a leak. He knows his stuff and did his company proud. Calvin-Turner Roofing is now our roofing ‘go to’ guys. As the saying goes . . “This ain’t my first rodeo “ so I know what I am attesting to as far as roofers go.
