WOW!  Thats what I love about Cookeville, great folks like all the nice people at Builders First Source (ProBuild).  They were ALL so polite, I bought the wrong size lumber, brought it back to swap it out, no problem and they were so good about it.  I WILL shop there again.  Very helpful!!

We are just wrapping up self-contracting a custom home. ProBuild was AWESOME to work with for materials, Jeff Crouch was great to work with, great prices, and excellent customer service.
Only reason for a 4 star review is due to a call from the billing department in Cookeville. We had a credit account set up with them during the build. We received a statement and mailed a check to the address on the statement - the corporate office in Atlanta, GA. The check was mailed timely. A few days after the due date, a man from the billing department in Cookeville called with an attitude and an accusatory tone, essentially assuming I was a deadbeat and wasn't going to pay my bill. I explained that I had in fact sent the check to Atlanta on time. His tone changed at that point, and he said he would have to check with them since sometimes it takes a few days for them to post payments. I never received an apology or a call-back, but my check did clear the bank the next day. lol
A word of advice- give people's checks time to clear, and maybe check with the corporate office before you call up with a bullying, accusatory tone.
Overall I would still highly recommend ProBuild for buying your building materials!

As a flat bed truck driver delivering here,  this place is amazing.  Good people with a great attitude.    Very professional.
