  I've been going to this library since I was a kid and I'm giving it 5 stars only because of the dedicated staff that have worked hard here for year's to maintain it with no funding. This library is neglected in support. For the population density around it it should be much larger and with much room with far more resources. Over the years it's become more of a “make an order “ to the main branch. Many people rely on the library's wifi because they don't have internet at home but the city has never moved the library into a larger building to improve capacity. If your a sci-fi and fantasy reader there's like a half shelf for you.... They have none of the books from my childhood because they had to cull the books sooo many times because of lack of space. As one of the very few open resources in Buena vista for the public not enough people are educated on how to use it's resources to better their lives, and thus there's less visitation and over all support.the city should create an open house program or school program to show people how to utilize their libraries . Basically the city of Buena vista has done the public library dirty and just handed it off to the main branch like “not my problem” Do better buena vista

  Reading clubs, kindergarten prep, story time, teen activities...our whole family loves visiting the library and we're always finding reasons to go back.

  Very helpful staff! Be sure to look at World War II local history exhibits.
