UPDATE 12/28: Duane and team came back out before Christmas to address the overlapping heating cables, inspect the work done, fill holes left by moving/replacing the gutters, and to take pictures of the completed work. I updated the below with **comments. Once Greg became involved, our issues were quickly addressed. The last piece we are waiting on is the pictures of the completed job. UPDATE 12/16: Greg has been working to address our additional issues and concerns. Will update my review based upon that resolution. Go with this company if you enjoy the following: - Lost paperwork - **I was told this is being addressed with a new organization system.. so hopefully this will be the exception moving forward. - Several unreturned phone calls (and now e-mails) - **to clarify, the salesman was the primary culprit of not returning my calls. Nick, Greg, and Duane were all very responsive to address the numerous issues and concerns. - Having your project remain incomplete while the workers leave to work another project because the scheduling is unrealistic - **I was told this was addressed with the employees. - Having 2 new workers who have been with the company for 2 WEEKS be left to their own devices on your project - **I was told this was addressed. There were some errors done with the new workers, but I think it's still unfortunate for 2 new employees to be sent out to a job by themselves without a more senior employee present. - Unsecured downspouts. I don't mean just missing screws on some of the brackets, but downspouts that were 3 inches AWAY from the house - **Duane spotted this issue immediately and addressed it when he came back to install the heat cables. - Crooked downspouts - **this was corrected by Duane. I had to ask him to plug the holes since we deal with a lot of lady bugs and other insects and I really don't want them to have even easier access into the house. - Leaking gutters - **the BSR team came out right away to correct this. I just hope this isn't happening other places where I cannot as easily see the gutters. - Downspouts that have no run-off gutter to lead water away from the foundation of your house even though you told the workers you already have foundation water issues - **Duane immediately addressed this concern and put in a temporary solution before he was able to come back to more permanently fix it. - Unsafe heating cable installation- **According to BSR, wires overlapping is only unsafe if they are in use for 50*+ weather. Regardless, my husband went out to more evenly spread the cables for our peace of mind. - Heat cable wires that don't reach the outside outlet, or are not in the location you discussed - **Per Greg's direction, Duane came back to move the cables so they now reach the same location. - Being billed above your original quote because the original salesman apparently underquoted the company, even though your "contract" specifically outlines the requirements and costs - **Greg responded right at the same time as my review and took care of this issue. We are paying the cost we were originally quoted. Now, I was originally going to give the heat cable team some credit for coming back to fix the first team's issues, but then they seemed to mess up the heat cables which is a fire hazard. Not happy. - **Apparently Duane was not the one to install the heat cables on this section of the house, which is still frustrating since I specifically told Duane I didn't want the new guy working on the house without Duane specifically overseeing his work. All in all... if you're willing to follow up several times and *critically* review the work done by BSR, your job should turn out alright...

Kim you write this review as if these problems have not been taken care of. They have. Yes we originally misplaced the paperwork that caused the job to start later than it should have. That is our fault. I have a complete paper trail of all communications and I'm not aware of any time where your communications were not returned. In fact I answered you personally earlier today just to make sure everything was taken care of to your satisfaction. The workers originally left the project to get a larger cable because you wanted an area done that was larger than was in the original contract. Yes there were new employees on the crew however the person in charge of the crew is a veteran of the company for over 30 years and if you scroll down on these reviews you will see he has several positive reviews. As a matter of fact this is the only complaint in all of his 30 years he has ever gotten. All of the unsecured or crooked downspouts as well as the gutter leak have been corrected. These are normal punch list items that typically have to be addressed after any project is completed. Please explain the unsafe installation. We offered to re-route everything so it is more cosmetically pleasing to you. Again, you were billed a higher amount because the area that you wanted done and the way you wanted it done was larger than the original area in the contract. The issue was your finance company capped the limit and wouldn't extend the $300 past this limit. WE CREDITED THIS AMOUNT TO YOU. I'm not sure what else we can do here to please you. Everything has been taken care of. I, the owner of the company have reached out to you to make sure you are satisfied, and the excess cost you complain of has been REFUNDED. I'm still willing to help you out further however I can.

Roof repair project was delivered $1k over quote and 3 months late. Took repeated calls to the office to lock in a timeline for the project - we were told for over 6 weeks that we were “next on the schedule.” Property has been sold, so I can’t comment on the finished project, however the process to get the work done was a nightmare.

      Response from the owner

Thank you for your review. We apologize we did not meet your expectations. Repairs are sold on a time and materials basis meaning that we won't know the extent of the repair until we are in the process of the repair. You are only billed for the exact time and materials it takes to make the correction. This season has been difficult due to the heavy backlog, labor shortages, and quarantines. We've done our best to get to everything timely but scheduling has been difficult. If there is anything else I can do please feel free to reach out to me personally.

One end they used multiple pieces of drip edge, like they ran out. Raker board wrap was damaged from a tree that came through my house. They left the old dented piece there. One end of roof peak was higher than the other. Had to call 5 times to finally get them to come out and fix it. It is a GAF roof and has been 2 months and still don't have my warranty. Just made a second call now. Keep saying they are going to look into it and call me back but don't. The job was done in one day but the workers did not speak English so you could not communicate with them.

      Response from the owner

Thank you for the feedback. Please let us know if the final result now meets your satisfaction.
