We are extremely pleased with our new 'Hardie Plank Siding', which replaced the existing 'Vinyl Siding' on our home. Boone's Home Improvement provided competitive pricing, coupled with skilled craftsmen to complete the work in a timely manner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for home improvements! We live out of state and own a rental property in Newport News. There were many problems that were coming up on an inspection report when we went to sell it, but finding someone we could trust to do repairs, and being 2k miles away, was something we dreaded. Searching the Internet I read about Boone's background and work ethic and something told me to take a chance on him. Yes! We were not disappointed in any way. The new roof, fascia/eaves, and repairs on a deck that some other guys had totally botched, were completed by Boone's Home Repair in just a few days. Communication with us during the project start to finish was excellent and put us at ease. He sent daily pictures of the work and when our realtor went out to check on the property he was so impressed with Mr. Boone that he said he definitely wanted to keep in touch and hire him for other projects on his properties. Mr. Boone also took care of choosing a shingle that matched the old roof and coordinating the trim colors; he definitely has an eye for aesthetics. Basically, we were able to just tell him what was needed and he took charge from there. That's exactly what we needed with being long distance! As for pricing, his bid was very reasonable and fair. We could not be happier and relieved to have the work done so we can get the property back on the market. And lastly, I have to say... It was refreshing to work with someone that is honest and has integrity in the work they do.
