I had my roof replaced by this company on October 14, 2021. The problem came after the roof was installed. I fully paid for the roof directly to Ben Kee Construction via cashier's check. Three weeks after completion, I received notice of intent to file a LIEN ON MY PROPERTY by the supply company for non-payment of the supplies used on my roof. I immediately contacted Ben Kee in mid November 2021, and was told not to worry about it, that they were on terms with the supply company, and that the supplies would be paid for by the end of the month. I spoke to Janet in accounting at Ben Kee on December 6, 2021, because they still had not paid for the supplies with a similar response as before. Now, it is January 3, 2022 and Ben Kee Construction will not answer my calls and the supply company has contracted a lawyer and the LIEN on my PROPERTY has increased by more than double. The stress of this is not worth the great price.

Showed up to give the quote when promised (a big plus in my book), and once the job was underway, the folks in the office kept me informed every step of the way. The work crews arrived as promised, worked hard, and cleaned up the mess before they left. The finished roof looks great and I'm very pleased with the results. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a new roof! UPDATE: As of 1/13/2022, the roofing supply company still has not been paid for a job that was completed 9/7/2021 and fully paid for within days. I did my part. Now the supplier has placed a lien on my property and I've gotten nothing but empty promises from Ben Kee about impending payment to them. No one answers the phone and now it looks like I'll have to get an attorney involved. NOT HAPPY! NEW UPDATE: 1/21/2022 and the supplier has been paid and the lien is in the process of being removed. Thank you Tristan for following through on your promise to make things right. To be clear, I am super happy with the quality of the work - that was never the issue.

BEWARE: They replaced my roof in May of 2021 and have not paid the material supplier as of February 2022. I paid in full. Now I (among the many many others) have a Lien on my property. Have tried calling and emailing numerous times. The only person to call me back was after clicking "get free estimate" on their website. They are interested in doing new work but not doing the right thing for past work.
