  We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of all those we dealt with at Bel Air Construction from the initial consultation through the completed project. Michael, the owner of Bel Air Construction, his office staff, interior design consultant, and contracted workers were personable, skilled, and efficient. Jeremiah, the project manager, sent us photographs and explanations of the work completed almost every day. He was very responsive to our inquiries and effected change orders quickly. Michael and Jeremiah also made suggestions for our remodeling project that proved to be better than what we envisioned. We were also very appreciative of the time Michael and Jeremiah devoted to discussing our project with us from its beginning to its completion. We would not hesitate to give Bel Air Construction our highest recommendation to friends and family considering home renovation.

  We are several years into a Kitchen/Ground Floor Remodel done by Bel Air Construction in 2017. Michael (Owner) is a very hands-on part of the process. In fact without Michael, I doubt we would have moved forward and accepted Bel Air Construction as our contractor. Krista (Senior Project Designer) did an excellent job with 3D CAD construction and really framed out allowing us to determine what was necessary for design and construction of the given living space. Paul (Contractor) did an excellent job of keeping communication up through the process and making us aware of issues and/or complications that had arisen. Most importantly, his team finished the process on-time as per the agreement. Ultimately, we chose Bel Air construction due to their design and belief in their quality workmanship. There have been small issues in terms of caulking and cracked drywall that I had to fix on our own that I would have expected to last a bit longer than it did. However, I would highly recommend obtaining a bid from this company for future work from them.

  I appreciate the feedback and would like to provide some additional information which might be helpful. Caulking should never yellow this early. Any caulk that yellows this soon is defective. As with all our clients we'll happily send someone out to remove and replace the caulk at no charge. We'll do the same for any cracking caulk, although that is most likely from a different cause. We've had in Maryland a record amount of rain this year which means that most of our homes had more humidity introduced to them during the spring, summer and fall months. When our heating systems are turned on the relative humidity in our homes drops significantly. Anything that has moisture in it dries out. We've seen more of this sort of moulding/caulking separation this year than ever. It's a simple remedy to re-caulk any of those places and we are happy to do that at no charge. One way to prevent big swings in humidity is to have a humidifier installed on the heating system so that in the winter the humidity remains constant. This is good for any building product, furniture, artwork, pianos, etc. We can certainly look at dings and dents in cabinets and flooring. Without seeing them I can't comment. The flooring was Mannington Adura Max which carries a 20 year residential warranty. Here is an excerpt from Mannington's website about this product : "ADURA®Max can stand up to the most active households and offers the industry’s best wear, scratch and stain resistance." I will be in touch to stop by and make a plan to remedy these items.

  Our firehouse enlisted Bel Air Construction to do a kitchen upgrade this past fall. Everything about the experience was smooth: scheduling, communication, picking out materials, etc. Great job Michael & Team. Based on BAC's work, we've even had some individuals reach out for personal work to be performed at their homes. Looking forward to doing more business in the future!
