  Poorly installed roof. Did not go to the edge of the house, laid it over gutter helmet. Laid shingling over holes in our roof decking which they didn’t tell us about. Not to mention, the workers left for a whole week after stripping roof and we ended up with water in our house from rain. My husband and I went and bought tarps and had to tarp it ourselves. Having to redo a bedroom due to so much water coming thru the ceiling. And here they thought “a little paint” would fix the bedroom. I would not recommend this company at all! Now we have another contractor in here fixing up their mess. Terrible Experience and lots of money spent. If I could give less than one star, I would!

  We are sorry to hear about your new situation and your apparent disappointment with our work. Unfortunately, as we indicated to you at the onset of our project, the gutter helmets you had in place when we installed your roof system are a patented product which we by law are not allowed to disturb. During our initial discussion with you, we informed you about this issue and asked you to have them removed prior to installation. You acknowledged this request but decided to keep them in place. As we indicated, our installation would have to be adapted in consideration of the gutter helmets - a process you approved. Your photos clearly indicate the gutter helmets were deck-mounted onto the roof system. Once the gutter helmets were removed by a new contractor - 124 days after our installation - it is apparent the shingles had to be installed short of the roof edge (accommodating the gutter helmets). At no point in time did you contact us about any issues you may have had (and would have been covered under our 50-year warranty). Subsequently, we did reach out to you on March 1, 2022 after seeing your review, at which time you detailed the actions of your new contractor. Addressing the issue you stated about "shingling over holes" is something our professional installers would not do. Your newly hired contractor removed soffit from your home per your new agreement and exposed wet wood from your faulting gutter helmet. The picture indicates a hole which was not present during our install, and it likely resulted from efforts of a third party upselling you services which could have been covered under our warranty had you contacted us. Unfortunately, since you went the route you did with a new company, our warranty is void, and there is nothing we can do to assist. We are sorry for your current situation, and we only wish you would have contact us first for a cost-free solution.

  Our Hastings, MI. Bay to Bay Building Concepts, LLC salesperson and contact person, Elliott Miller, was excellent and made our re-roofing experience very pleasant from start to finish. He went above and beyond to ensure every roofing detail was taken care of for us. The roofing crew did a fantastic job too, including the job site clean up. Our roof has never looked better and all for a great price too. Highly recommend !!

  These guys were great! My roof was in pretty rough shape. They didn’t give me some high pressure sales pitch trying to sell me more than I needed. They were great honest and professional guys which is hard to come across. Jonathon, their project manager was so patient and helpful. As a first time homeowner and a single mom that knows nothing about roofing, I was so nervous to make my first big investment/ fix on my home and they made it so easy and stress free. My roof looks great. I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend to anyone!
