  We bought a second home out in the Dripping Springs Hill Country. Cutest home on 5 acres with views you just can't get anywhere else in the World. Oh, and an active creek snakes thru the property accompanying a rather nice swimming hole. So, as you can tell we are smitten with the home. We knew the roof was in need of some major repairs but we were a week before Christmas and we thought we were going to be out of luck until mid January before we were going to get anyone to look at the roof more less repair/replace it. Calling a 1/2 dozen roofers off a Google search and receiving anything from telephone range quotes and no call backs from most of them, we were surprised to have Stephen Peyton (Owner) of Battalion Roofing & Construction pull up in our front yard and introduce himself. Stephen not only educated my wife and I about roofing he was a wealth of knowledge regarding all aspects of home ownership in the Hill Country. To keep this review short, I can tell you that Stephen in less than 72 hours had completely removed the previous faulty roof and installed one of the most technologically advanced metal roofs in the industry. I do not typically write reviews but when you experience Integrity, Craftsmanship, Reliability and Over Delivery in all aspects it is more of a civic duty to do so.   We contacted the Battalion Roofing Company because we noticed a leak coming from our attic. Steven came out and inspected our roof and noticed that we sustained wind and hail damage. He suggested that we contact our insurance company. We did and our insurance company determined that our roof needed to be replaced. After we received our settlement from our insurance company, we contacted Battalion Roofing again to begin the work on our roof. We settled on last weekend. He had all the supplies delivered on Friday and bright and early Saturday his crew arrived ready to work. They went straight to work pulling off the whole roof. It was a very messy project, but his crew was extremely professional. They cleaned up after themselves and left my house looking like nothing ever happened. Great job Battalion Roofing. You guys did an awesome job and I'm so proud of my new roof. I'm going to try and upload a pic of it, but again GREAT JOB.

  After calling Battalion for an estimate, based on their online positive reviews, Stephen came out and in detail, went over everything we needed to tear off and install on a new roof. Since we felt very comfortable with him, especially being the owner, and the price he quoted, knowing that we were working with our insurance company, we scheduled the job. His crew showed up on time, worked at a steady pace and completed it in a day, as promised. I'd use them again (hopefully not for another 20 years, ha) and would recommend them as well. Thanks for a job well done, Stephen!
