The folks at Bannister Roofing did a masterful job replacing our shingle roof with a custom standing-seam metal roof. The hip roof combined with dormers and overhangs was complicated, and a different roofing company told me that the metal roof would be impossible. Bannister figured it out; the work was done efficiently and clean-up was complete. Best of all, no surprises. We are pleased with the job and heartily recommend Bannister Roofing.

In August we had the roof of our house replaced by Bannister and we are very happy that we chose them for the project. The crew was very efficient, protected the house when removing the old roof, worked swiftly yet safely, and was always respectful of the landscaping. Kevin and / or Brian Bannister stopped by every day of the project to ensure that the work was commencing well and they were finished within four days. We highly recommend Bannister.

I hired this company November 2020 and they came to place a new standing seam roof January 2021. They didn’t finish the work and there were areas damaged by the contractors, which included scuff marks and dents in the metal. They came back in the spring to finish the work and replace the damaged panels. Everything looked great but upon removal of the ladder the wheel on the ladder scratched down the panel located right above the front door. I have a cape style roof so it is VERY obvious. The contractor told me what happened and said he hoped it would come out with some rain. I took a hose out that day and soaked the area hoping he was correct. Sure enough it didn’t come out and as the metal dried you could see the scratches highlighted because they dried differently then the rest of the panel. I called the company to ask about fixing this damage and they preceded to tell me it wasn’t actually a scratch but a scuff mark and refused to come out to fix it. I told them that I believed it to be a scratch and asked if they would they send someone out to confirm. They refused. I am continuing to try and reach out to the company. I hope that they will fix the damage left by their contractors ladder but so far they are refusing to work with me to find a solution.

We are very sorry you were not satisfied with your experience with us. We have stood behind our work and replaced panels for free of charge and had 3 days of labor to replace panels that had gotten dinged during installation. As you said when our Lead Roofer was removing the ladder the Rubber wheel scuffed the panel. He has discussed this matter with you while on site, he had pointed it out to you. He had also advised you that after some rain it would go away. The scuff is not a permanent mark and will fade, The Panel is not scratched. Our Lead Roofer, who is well trained in standing seam was there on site there was no reason to send another person to look at the scuff mark. Your call was taken when you called the office to report the claim, handled with professional customer service. When we called you back with further information you did not want to hear about nothing except getting another panel free of charge. The cost of materials have significantly increased since we originally went into contract with you in November of 2020. Regardless we still replaced 5 panels. When you were given the options you refused to hear any of them. You were given Kevin's cell phone number to call him for additional options. However instead of calling him you sent an email to our Vice President, and 20 minutes later you are writing bad reviews and leaving out the details of options we had given you, nor did you give him a chance to respond before potentially creating a loss of business for our company. You were provided a Warranty of coverage for this particular standing seam materials. Drexell does not provide touch up paint with there panels although they can provide the customer with touch up in a warranty. This Scuff mark is not damage it will wash off with rain, understandably you do not want to wait for the scuff mark to wash away, we have advised you to reach out the warranty. We will not replace another panel that is not damaged. Bannister Custom Exteriors
