  I had just purchased a home in Madison and thought I had a leak so called a roofer. We called badgerland after getting a quote by another company in the area that was quite unreasonable. Badgerland said they could do the repair for about 1/3 the price which I thought was great. It did take me a little bit of pestering to get them out to do the quote and to get the work done but I figured they were busy. Then they told me I was going to need a new roof in 1-2 years. About a year later I had a leak in my roof and called a few other companies to get a quote for the repair. Given I didn't really have the money for a new roof when I just purchased the home and the inspection that I had done said the roof was in good shape. All the companies I got quote from actually told me my roof was in great shape just needed new flashings and Badgerland was just trying to get us to pay for a new roof out of doing a repair. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. The cost of the flashings were less than 10% of the $20k he quoted us for the supposed new roof. Here's the kicker, I never needed the repair Badgerland or the other company told me I needed. I had a condensation issue coming off of one of the pipes in my basement there was never a leak. I tell everyone to stay away from this company.

  The roof repair looks amazing. We have a pretty old roof and he managed to find shingles that matched perfectly, you can't even tell that we had any work done. Quoted us at 1/3 the price of other roofers in the area. Very pleasant to work with and easy to get ahold of. I wish I would have written this review sooner so that I could share a picture without snow covering everything! Would, and will recommend to anyone with roofing needs!

  They were going to come quote my project at 5pm. 6pm rolls around and I call and they hit traffic so they were coming the next day and were going to call me. They never called me and showed up randomly. They said they would come Monday, they never came. They said they would send me a quote. They never did. When I asked about scheduling and getting a quote, they said “I’ll pass”, and that was it. Project over. I’d never call them for help. Rude service and horrible communication.
