  Everybody always seems so friendly when you walk this trail. Most bikers smile and say hi, pretty much ALL the walkers are friendly. And kids are just fascinated by everything...the water, the ducks, the birds, the dogs walking their humans, campers and kayakers, heck, even the rocks. And if you are lucky...you will see a heron at the water's edge. Benches along trail are nice to just sit and listen, reflect, catch up with s friend or just rest. The markers are a good read as to the surrounding nature and history.
