  I wanted to tear down and rebuild my back deck, adding more space and a seating area. After several other contractors either flaked or provided outrageous bids, I found AYA Homes. Shawn was responsive, getting back to my request almost immediately. He provided a clear proposal. His guys were respectful, hardworking, efficient and skilled. Shawn was easy to communicate with and didn't flinch when I changed my mind or wanted something adjusted. I am very pleased with the result and would highly recommend working with AYA Homes.

  We used Shawn and AYA LLC for a new bathroom addition, backyard deck build and flagstone placement. Overall we were very happy with the quality of work that was done by Shawn and his team. Shawn has 20+ years of experience as a builder/contractor and showed strong expertise dealing with the myriad of issues that came up during the renovation of our nearly 100 year old house. Shawn is a very frequent communicator constantly keeping up with us and giving us updates on the project as well as ensuring that we are one step ahead in terms of buying materials, having decisions finalized, etc. This was very appreciated as many contractors under communicate and may not respond to texts, calls, etc. During the project there were several decisions and improvements that had to be made that we had some back and forth with Shawn regarding whether it would be in the initial scope of the project. This is normal for every complex project, and will happen with all contractors/project managers. In the end we were very happy with the work done which is what matters. I'll look to work with Shawn again as I do more work on our house.

  AYA Homes did a pretty extensive remodel, adding a floor to our house. Shawn helped us navigate the fun of inspections, surprise hidden shear walls, and engineering changes. Thanks!
