  Called Avery to get a roof inspection after a leak was detected. I was advised that they had a $40.00 service call fee that would be returned if I used them for the repair or replacement work. This is a bit out of the industry standard, but I agreed to this. They showed up, examined the roof and told me the original roof valley was not installed correctly and would need to be replaced at a cost of $3500.00, or they could repair it for about $400.00. Not sure what the repair method is, but still $400.00. I noted during the examination of the home that the service person (will not provide his name) was a bit arrogant and not very professional. I was also a bit concerned when he did not know what a Radon gas mitigation system was, which was installed in the attic. These system are fairly common in the area and are typically vented through the roof or outside wall. Either way I would have suspected a roofer would know what this is. I had 5 other roofers come out and ALL of them said there is nothing wrong with the way the roof valley was installed. I will not get into what the actual problem was, but it was not from the valley. I was also told the price quoted from Avery was way too high. It may just have been the guy they sent, but my experience with Avery was not good, I would not recommend them, nor would I suggest you pay for them to come out for an estimate. Jim S.

  Charged our church $600.00 to calk all the screw heads on our metal roof. Came, got on roof and walked around looking for screws not called and only did them. Had leaks still and after repeated calls still has not showed up. Several times he promised to come but never showed. Do not recommend this company.

  After 3000 dollars, my roof still leaks in the spot that I called this company to repair. I left several messages after and my phone call has yet to be returned.
