2.5 years ago this company put a new roof on the house we bought in Colorado Springs. The roof is leaking. The roof is under warranty, but this company is no where to be found. Neither their Colorado Springs or their Joplin, MO phone numbers are working. They seem to be storm chasers and leave town when the work dries up and leaves you high an dry when their poor quality work does not hold up. They claimed to be a long-standing company, but that seems to be untrue.

Avalanche did a wonderful job on my roof installation. They met the adjuster and were able to get the roof approved by my insurance company. Clean up was great and the installers were polite. There was some rotten decking that they found when they took the old shingles off.I appreciated them letting me know even though I had to pay extra. I just wanted it done right.

Was not too happy with this company. In the beginning they were doing well but contractors broke my patio roof accidentally and Avalanche did not even call, text or email that they made a major booboo and were going to fix and pay for the damages on my patio roof. Come to find out that they fired their contractor and had a new one replace him. I talked to that person but never heard from him since. Owner did not even bother coming to the house to inspect the damages himself. It’s been a year now and I had another company fix my patio roof. Avalanche needs to be more mindful of their contractors and they do not inspect how the work is being handled on a weekly basis. I would hire another company if I were you. I just wanted to also say that you contacting me numerous times is a lie. We had waited patiently for a phone call or a text or somebody to come and let us know what was really happening to our roof. You also said that your company did not damage our roof. Well, let me say I have a voicemail message stating otherwise. And COVID-19 happened only early this year. It did not happen in 2019. So many excuses and no action. The longest communication with your company is happening only now that I am writing this response. So sad that we did not ruin your reputation in this city, you did that on your own.

Sir, I deeply regret that you are frustrated. Please accept our sincerest apologies. I have tried to reach you on multiple occasions and you never return my calls. I left detailed messages every single time I called and documented it in our CRM. That was before we had multiple cases of COVID 19 and mandatory closure. We did not damage your patio cover. The manufacturer of your patio cover is out of business and we were simply offering to fix the issue permanently by removing the metal patio cover and building a matching patio cover that was structurally sound. You sent the estimate into the insurance company and you simply never called me back. I called you personally no less than a dozen times. The contractor that worked on your home was never fired. He has been with me since the beginning for over 15 years. We simply needed communication from you to move forward. I apologize That we did not ultimately connect to finish this job. It's always frustrating to get a one-star review for an otherwise happy customer. I will reach out to you and I you can only hope that I can repair our relationship. Update: Sir, I personally called you over a dozen times to collect payment. You are behind on your payments. You finally issued a partial deposit check for work completed in October of 2018 in October of 2019. We ordered the material and it shipped in November 2019. We dropped the material, but were forced to wait out the winter months. Then, COVID delayed us further. We have yet to be paid for the services that we completed in 2018. We invoiced your Insurance Company and you were paid in October of 2019. Currently, you still have a balance due. There was a long delay from your Insurance Company, however, you never issued payment to us. Neither one of us intended for this to happen. It business as usual in Colorado. The winters are long and the summers are short. My sincerest apologies in any event sir.
