  Had a roof leak on a fairly new ( just purchased the house) metal roof. Shawn came out to bid the job, his one worker came out to do the job—3 separate visits. Now— the work for 2 visits started late and finished well after dark, the 2nd visit was to clean up and was also late arriving from scheduled 8 to showing around noon.. Shawn was to have come out again last week— but rescheduled to the next day after me waiting all morning. The first repair was the same— scheduled for Friday— rescheduled for Saturday morning , came out Saturday late afternoon at 4-5. Last week I Had 2 separate roofers bid to fix the roof for near what I paid Shawn— both told me the valley was wrong along w multiple holes in the metal. It was leaking buckets!!! after I pulled the drywall down. So Shawn’s guy did not fix the problem— sent his guy out solo working on my roof after dark— twice. He twice rescheduled as I was waiting for him to arrive. And never addressed the real problem. I threw money away on his work—Shawn is real personable, his worker guy was nice and worked— a waste of my money and time for poor work.

  You needed a new roof I tried to repair what you had for as little as I could charge you sorry it didn't work out you should have better contractors to start within the 1st place U SAID YOU DID NOIT HAVE THE MONEY

  After a week of back and forth emails, Mr. Obermann sent an email with a cost. This "quote" was simply an email, not a professional document. I specfically requested a proper quote as I had to present this to my insurance. I looked passed this. Then the day comes where Mr. Obermann was to come on site to finalize the quote. Another email saying "meet this afternoon" to which I replied for him to just let me know when. He was a no show. His response to the notification we werent using his company? "Thanks for the update." Highly recommend avoiding this company. Owner doesnt act professional, doesnt show for appointments, and doesnt even have a coporate email. Operates using a gmail. Avoid at all possible cost. Edit after posting: Owner, Shawn Obermann, emailed a threatening email stating "Well now you've picked my interest I'm gonna do a little digging into your a**". I've attached a screenshot for those interested. I will be following up with the Missouri Attorneys General regarding the business practices, or lack thereof, shown.

  During the last storm, the wind was so strong it broke the metal vent pipe on my roof. I called Armor Roofing and they came to my house the same day and completed the repair the same day. The service was amazing. I definitely would refer them and use their services again.
