Scott came out and gave us a free estimate on repairing our roof, came back out the following day to make the repairs. Showed up exactly when he said he would, was timely and efficient in making the repairs, went back though and double checked the entire roof and made sure we were 100% satisfied with the work. Gave us a great price on the repair, explained everything he was doing and why and was very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend Arizona Valley Roofing for any repair work that you need accomplished. First rate customer service all the way.

Terrible experience. Scott and contractors came out the first time to check out our roof as we had leaking in our bedroom and in our dining room due to the monsoon weather holes in our roof. They found 2 holes over the dining room and none over the bedroom (water went through a vent thing on the roof). They didn't do a water test to make sure every hole was found and sealed and we were worried about that but they said they were "very confident" with their work. A couple days later, more monsoons came and more leaking came in both locations. We called them, they came out again and found a additional hole over the dining room and a hole over the bedroom. They did a water test that time and it seemed all good but once again, a couple days later, monsoon storms happened again and AGAIN leaks in the same spots that were just as bad or worse than the first leaks! Scott's contractors came out again, went to check the roof while I was inside working. I noticed that I hadn't heard from them or any activity so I went outside and they were gone. No notice. My husband called Scott and he said something about telling them to leave and that they will not be fixing our roof any further because "someone was up there besides them" (which no one has been up there, our insurance adjuster didn't even bring a ladder to go up there) and some other excuses. Mind you they showed up whenever they wanted, said they would come one day and then not and we would only get updates if we called them. Will not and do not suggest using them. Unprofessional with regards to your time and the communication given between us as the customer, Scott as the owner and the contractors gets misconstrued every time which is very frustrating as a consumer. The vibe is that a new roof is the answer to any issues instead of coming up with other solutions. Roof still not fixed.
Response from the owner
Arizona Valley Roofing answer to this complaint: Walter and Leah Baltazar called us out to do a leak repair on there roof. We told them upon our inspection of the roof that there membrane was in bad condition. We showed them pictures. They asked us to repair the area that was leaking and we did (2 areas). They asked if there were any recent repairs done on there roof and we said no. They got upset because they had just bought the house and the sellers told them that the current leaks were fixed. Walter called us back out one week later claiming that the roof was still leaking. We came back out and discovered a new leak same area. He agreed for us to fix it. We did and a water test followed the repair to confirm the leaks were fixed and no longer leaking. The Baltazar's contacted there insurance company to file a claim for a new roof and they were denied. I was asked by the Baltazars to write on the invoice that the roof damage was caused by wind. I told the Baltazars that in my 28 years of contracting experience. I haven't ever seen an insurance company replace old membrane on a tile roof. One week later the insurance company denied there claim. "The Baltazars are upset because they were denied there claim by the insurance company. They are upset because the seller sold them the house without disclosing or fixing the roof issues. We were professional throughout the entire process of our communicating with the Baltazars and we feel this complaint is in valid. The Baltazars were happy until the insurance company denied there claim and they found out that the sellers did not disclose roof issues.
