Did not use for guttering but for installment of drainage. Directions given by owner to his work crew were cursory which played large part in work not being done as quoted. Crew supervision was inadequate. Work quality substandard. Cheap materials and improper materials. I had to do remedial work and modification to correct system to properly complete drainage and modify materials not suited to installation. French drain completely washed out within 6 months. They used impermeable roofing material to line trench, put in 1/4-1/2 in pea gravel where rocks should be 1 inch or larger and wrapped French drain pipe in wrong fabric which clogged with silt and defeated purpose of French drain. At time of quote I specifically requested two drainage pipes be run under the sidewalk. Crew shows up and the drill needed is “busted”. Drains nor run under sidewalks. Quote included specific footages of drain lines. Was shorted several feet in two locations and pop ups were not located where they were to be installed. Pop ups were not suited for the drain pipe requiring me to retrofit to prevent their coming off in every rain. Drain pipe improperly attached to downspouts in a couple locations. Result is their coming off in a heavy rain. A monetary adjustment was made by Aqua Tech after deficiencies were brought to their attention. Minor gratis work on a couple downspouts (less than $100) was promised on at least two occasions but never done. Not significant other than a business should be good to it's word. Says something to sincerity and reliability. Settled? Yes, but not the same as satisfied. It is never satisfactory when expectations are not met, promises not kept and quoted work not followed. Money is just one aspect of satisfaction. I hire people specifically because I want them to do the work and do it correctly. I don't hire a firm expecting to to look over their shoulder or correct incomplete work. Should hire them be very specific and to the point on expectations and definitely get it in writing in your contract. Don't leave anything open to interpretation. Require specifics on materials and verify, verify, verify.
