  Nice people. Good lumber, but I do NOT recommend contracting them to build a pole barn. The Amish group they got to build the barn was great. The garage door installers were AWFUL. It's three years later and I'm about to drop an additional $2K to fix the bad installation. And this is after Ansonia had them come back out to fix other stuff after the original install. Ansonia should stick to the lumber business.

  I just finished the second pole barn project I've completed with Ansonia Lumber over the past decade. This experience was just as good as the first one. As a Construction Project Manager with over 20 years of commercial construction experience I have high standards on quality, communication, and price. Luke and Ansonia Lumber get 5 stars in all three categories. They do what they say they will do, are friendly, and provided a great level of quality on my barn project. The price was the price and there was no nickel diming. I would definitely recommend Ansonia Lumber for any of your pole barn needs.
