  I have owned several properties in Federal Hill, Baltimore for over 45 years. There are 8 different roofs on these buildings. Alternative Roofing has been immensely important in maintaining them for many years. One needs a good plumber, electrician and a great Roofing company. That's what Alternative Roofing is for me, great service, timely response and fair prices.

  We purchased a new roof and 2 skylights. Did a very good job with clean up and nails - still found a few but that is to be expected - just keep inspecting your driveway, esp. after a heavy rain - found a few nails. Overall we are happy with the install. Make sure to get some samples and put them in the sun\shade - the sun\shade alters how the shingles look from the book.

  We originally used this company to replace our entire roof about 13 years ago when they were known as Monarch Roofing. Last year 2021, we decided to replace the plexiglass roofing in the middle portion of the deck covering because it had rotted and water was falling over the sitting and dining area of our deck. We called Alternative Roofing (formerly Monarch) and they responded quickly. We were told they could not match the original roofing color but they did the best they could. There were a few leaks that were still occuring where the new roofing tiles overlapped the existing ones. But after the second time, the problem was fixed. To-date with all the rain and snow...no more leaks . The employees were great in following up again (several weeks later after a heavy rainfall period) to make sure there were no more leaks. We appreciated that. Yes, we would recommend Alternative Roofing for your roofing needs.
