  We weren’t even able to use ABC Contracting due to their lack of professional skills. We had an appointment to get an estimate on July 3. The truck broke down and they rescheduled, which we understood. The estimate was done on July 5th and we were promised an estimate the following Monday. Monday arrives, no estimate. I told my husband to give it a day and see what happened. We receive no estimate. My husband calls on that Thursday and asks about the estimate. The woman answering the phone asked my husband about his email address and said she had written it down incorrectly. He corrected it and she said he would have the estimate “later on today.” We said okay and waited. No estimate. Friday rolls around, 5 days late for the estimate, and my husband calls again. The woman says that Mike is out of town and will get the estimate emailed out “sometime today.” At this point, “sometime today” is no longer acceptable. I called the woman back and asked when “sometime” would be. She told me, again, that Mike was out of town. I said that I understood that but we were told the same thing yesterday and this is unacceptable and that if we did not receive an estimate by 3pm that day, because we were expecting to receive an estimate from another contractor, that we would just have to go with someone else. We were not surprised that we never received the estimate. We wasted a week and were our off our schedule a week because of ABC’s lack of communication and professionalism. If you’d like to receive anything for your project in a timely manner, I’d suggest finding a different company. (before someone from ABC comments on this and says they have no info for my last name, my husband’s last name is different. Timothy P. was the name on the estimate information.)

  Mrs. Eaton, We do apologize for causing a delay in your preferred timeline to have your job done. We understand your frustration in this matter completely, but please try to understand that we did have a job under contract that had to take precedent. In situations where we have to choose between working on a job for a customer or getting a free estimate turned in to a potential customer, we will always choose to address the issues with customers who have a contract in place.   Appointment set ! They called and said That The person who would come out to give me and estimate Would not be able to come! Because he would going out of Town! Never asked could they send some one else out! Very Unprofessional! 😞

This is definitely not the standard of service our customers have come to expect from us, but you have to understand that things come up sometimes that are out of our control. I hope that you are willing to give us another chance to make things up to you in the future.
