  These guys were absolutely amazing. Showed up right on schedule to survey and gave a thorough explanation as part of the estimate. Above and beyond engaging and respectful and then showed up again - right on time and got the job done - as promised without a hitch. They explained the process during each step of the installation. Honest, reliable, knowledgeable. All my concerns with this large project were alleviated by the level of confidence they provided in how they would take care of us and our home. There were no surprise add on costs. Executed the job above and beyond expectations. I would reach out to this family run business for any additional home needs without hesitation and encourage anyone seeking this type service to work with Al Sr., Al Jr. and the entire A Stewart Roofing team of professionals. Simply put - outstanding service.

  Used A. Stewart to replace my roof, they gave a four year guarantee and about a year and a half later it's leaking into one of the bedrooms. My family and friends have called relentlessly, voicemail on both numbers are full, sometimes the phone doesn't even ring, just goes straight to voicemail. I'm blown away that there are good reviews as recent as a month or two ago. I hope you don't have the same experience I'm having should you need to follow up. We went as far as to visit the address that's listed as it really didn't make sense for me to pay someone else if their work was guaranteed, and it's just a P.O. Box, which apparently hasn't been paid for in a few months. You should be ashamed for taking advantage of people.

But we are going to be back on the 15th of this month and will come out and fix whatever issues you’ve been having. I apologize for the inconvenience but we’d love a chance to make it right.

  Wow. I thought Dad, A Stewart was a good guy. He won't even take my phone calls to discuss the issue. Of course when I paid him over $7,000 he was happy to stay if there were any problems, to just give him a call. I did. and I did again. and again. and he hung up on me. original post: A Stewart did excellent service for me. When his son, Alex Jr took over the business, not only did he not correct the problems I had re: roofing and waterproofing, he made it WORSE. I'm spending thousands of dollars for reconstruction due to their lack of expertise. Do not read the old reviews of service provided by Al Senior. He and son Tom did excellent work. Alex Jr is a theif.

  I never reply to reviews as I feel if a customer is unhappy they have the right to say so and I use the feedback to get better as a roofer and business, but on this review I feel it’s unfair and unwarranted. We done work for this lady over the years on some projects and she even said that the work we’ve done has been great, no leaks and is holding up well. The rub here is this customer had another contractor do work on another area of her home and unfortunately they never done the job correctly and it leaked and from what I understand they never came back and honored there warrantee. So this customer has been harassing us with middle of the night calls and threats to fix the work that they’ve done, now as a business that’s been around for 50+ years we guarantee all our work and would have no problem fixing any issues she has except for the fact as any business would we only guarantee work that we preform not the work of other companies. We’ve explained this to her and she acknowledged that but she says that she wants us to fix there work for free because “she’s tired of people blaming other people for things” and that she’ll remove the negative reviews of we fix the work that the other company has done which is we feel unacceptable. In the meantime we’ve opened an investigation by google into this matter and hopefully this false review will be removed soon. We feel that if a negative review is placed here based on our performance then FairPlay but this is something that has nothing to do with us it’s like blaming your dentist because you got a bad haircut.
