We found "A Good Roof" in the parking lot of our local building supply store. He was parked there and we were in the process of getting bids for a new roof on our home. The guy seemed so nice and knowledgeable and we asked him for a bid. He came to our home an hour later, measured everything and took down details he needed to make a bid. That's the last we heard from them. In a two week time period I messaged, emailed and called and left messages. Nothing. We don't understand why a company would not follow through or at least call, email or message and say they don't have time or whatever. In these days of social media and people asking for recommendations, this is not a good business practice. We finally had to go with another company who was very timely.

Hearing good reports about A Good Roof, I contacted the company about a simple chimney repair job in Oceanside. He came out to look at the job and said he could fix the problem. That was in January. It is now June and 7 phone calls later, and not one word or explanation. I've asked him to let me know one way or the other, but have received not even the courtesy of a reply.

We accepted a bid from A Good Roof in May, 2018. Eight months later, after numerous excuses, our old roof was torn off. That was three weeks ago. Today is February 3, 2019. We still don't have a roof. We're listening to every excuse in the book and some outright lies as to why the work isn't done. And that's only when Klobas bothers to return your call or email. We're in Arizona for the winter. It's obvious Klobas thinks what we can't see doesn't matter. Thanks to relatives and neighbors with cameras, we're filing with the BBB today.
