  Sam stopped by our home offering to check our roof for hail damage. Seemed nice enough. After finding some, we hired them to replace our whole roof. After weeks of dry weather, they showed up and tore off our roof on a day that it poured down rain. After the roof was replaced, the next heavy rain we had, our roof leaked and discolored a ceiling in our living room and garage that we had just had painted. Sam sent someone to caulk around some seams that they had missed. He told me they would pay for the painter to touch up the spots on our ceiling, however they never did. I let Sam know what it cost me to have it done but never saw a dime. They were more than happy to take my money but don't stand behind their work. I wouldn't recommend them.

  I would and already have recommended 33 Carpenters to friends and family for roof repair and replacement. The company, and particularly the project contact Zach, was super helpful, professional, responsive and very attentive. They wanted to ensure the process was smooth and looked good and they were also very easy to work with, especially with having to deal with insurance at the same time. I would for sure use them again if needed!

  33 Carpenters did a fantastic job of replacing the hail-damaged roof on our home in Green Meadows West, Johnston, IA. Communication and follow-up from the company was excellent throughout the entire project. A company official met with us to explain the process for filing a claim and he worked with our insurance company. He gave us references and we were able to scope out roofs the 33 Carpenters installed in the metro area so we could look at various shingle colors. The project was started ahead of schedule and completed well-within the time we had been promised. Roofers were careful in their work and they did an excellent job of cleaning up the yard when the project was completed. We were impressed with the professionalism of the company employee who worked with us and we are very pleased with the new roof.
