  I am a private developer in Dallas, TX, and we work with Storm Shield to provide roofing and metal cladding for our new construction Townhome and Custom Home builds in DFW. Exceptional communication, follow up, and delivery across all aspects. Best metal work I've seen in 10 years, hand's down the best! Great flexibility to tackle various roofing / waterproofing tasks as well, clean work, on time, clear communication, not sure what else you could ask for in a vendor in 2022. You won't regret going with these guys!

  As so many know, the day after a major storm in North Texas, a new storm brews: a storm of contractors blows through your neighborhood, flooding your doorway with solicitations and promises. It's hard to know who to trust, not just with managing your insurance claim, but ultimately with ensuring the repairs are done right and to your satisfaction. This is why I'm writing this review. I'd heard the name Storm Shield before, and seen a sign or two in the past, but had no prior personal experience with the team. I was approached by the team as I was working my yard to clean up all the branches and debris. The sincerity of the initial conversation took me off guard, even after they genuinely offered to help me clean up. So I shrugged off any skepticism and listened to what they had to say (I dismissed 3 or 4 others prior). The empathy for my situation was palpable, and was appreciated. But the immediate action on Storm Shield's part was what made me a customer. I had a skylight that was decimated by hail stones, and the upstairs bathroom was opened to whatever weather was forecasted. They immediately sprang to the roof, secured the broken pieces and put a heavy-duty patch over the opening to prevent any further damage. But this was all done at no obligation, no signed paperwork, no commitment from me at all. That kind of service and caring is far too rare today! But of course, I was grateful and I thought to myself, if this is their service to me as a stranger, how great will the service be as a customer? The answer was quickly obvious. Not only was the level of customer service so exceptional and personal, the expertise that was brought to my project was tremendous and assuring. Their inspection was thorough and beyond just a restorative perspective; they were present during the insurance adjusters inspection (who scheduled two inspections due to the extent of the damage); and they managed the communication with my insurance carrier throughout the process, especially as supplements became necessary. As the scope of work was being developed, they laid out for me all the options, colors, materials, other repairs to consider. I was engaged throughout the planning and repair process, which was hugely important to me. But dealing with my mortgage company was particularly challenging as they held my claim funds for a ridiculous amount of time. But Pius and Storm Shield were understanding and more than patient; even more importantly, however: when I finally received funds, the team scheduled my work within a week! I thought there would be at least a month lag due to all the ongoing work in the area. The crew on the roof was terrific! Genuine, courteous, hard workers, and they cleaned up behind themselves at every step of the way (not just when all the work was done) ... a sign of true professionalism and pride in craftsmanship in my opinion. Work was done on time, as planned, and precisely to my expectations. Communications and responsiveness from Pius, the crew, and the whole team were consistent and thorough ... I was never questioning anything or ever left in the dark. As work was completed, final inspections revealed that everything was repaired either to or beyond expectations ... my home is whole again! Pius continued to walk me through the insurance process and paperwork, and now I'm just waiting for my mortgage company to release my remaining claim funds ... wish me luck ;) Though this is a lengthy review, I hope it builds confidence in the decision anyone has to make about a restoration project, whether it's from storm damage or some other catastrophe. Bottom line, I highly recommend Storm Shield: outstanding product, outstanding service, outstanding professionalism!

  Stormshield is a great company with owners who care about their customers. Shelby is honest and does what he says. Their reputation speaks for itself and you will be in good hands with Stormshield for any of your roofing and restoration needs! Also, I am review number 100! How about that??
