  Wanted to know the cost of metal roof since they were wanting homes but they stated they could do metal right now because if the cost, which is understandable. Got an estimate for shingles though but decided to go with another company at this time.

  I was referred to Ranger Roofing about 5 to 6 years ago after a hail storm come through town and damaged my roof, guttering and siding. They quoted me a price for all 3 things to be repaired and submitted it to insurance and got the ball rolling on the repairs. Long story short after the roof is done they tell me I’m on the list the get my guttering done but they wasn’t doing anything to the siding. So I don’t know how insurance claims work and all but I was quoted for all 3 things to be repaired and the siding wasn’t. So I told them I’m not gonna pay till it gets repaired and I get a letter and they were gonna send me to claims and in fear of it ruining my credit I paid. So I’m the mean time I got 3 flat tires from nails that was in my drive after the roof repair after they “rolled” my yard and drive with the magnet to get the nails. Also they didn’t put the satellite dish back up on the roof even though it was in the contract and they charged the insurance for it. So I had to keep calling them to have them come out and do that and they only paid me to have 1 flat repaired. I was very upset but I didn’t say anything or give them a review because I didn’t wanna write anything in anger. However, 5-6 years later I developed a roof leak and my bedroom ceiling has collapsed in and I have a massive hole in my bedroom. I contacted by phone calls and emails and it took weeks to get anyone to return my call. When I finally got a return I was informed that they only warranty their work for 2 years!! The manufacturers warranty on the shingles is 25 and they only warranty their work for 2? Guess they don’t have much faith in their work. That should’ve been a sign. So after I talk with the gentleman he said he would send a guy out and look at everything to see if it’s a defect in the shingles or what. I appreciate that and I said “thanks”. Well as you could probably guess I never heard from anyone again and nobody has returned calls or emails. So I had to have someone come out and look at it and they said in their professional opinion it’s been leaking for a while and his opinion was probably since the roof was replaced. I don’t know anything about roofs and repairs so take that with a grain of salt. This is just my story so take it for what it’s worth. I wasn’t gonna write this review but I know first hand how expensive roof replacement and repairs can be and I don’t want anyone else pay that money just to pay thousands more years later because of subpar work. Do what you will but I wouldn’t recommend them to change a lightbulb in my house.
